QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 07:21 AM) Never had one and never wanted one, but I have a feeling that will change in the forseeable future. *sigh* You're just saying that because they're not available in Kentucky yet.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 06:47 AM) Cingular, and they suck. They drop all kinds of calls and are real assholes to work with. I can't wait for my contract to be up so I can drop these losers. I love Cingular! I had Cell One - not too bad, but wanted a change. I went to SBC, which became Verizon. They were the absolute worst! I then went back to Cell One, which was called Cingular by then. I've been there ever since. I've never had any problems with dropped calls or bad cells. I'm on my 2nd contract with them and I'll gladly sign a third.

I gave blood on Monday for the second time. (January was the first.) Well I never got my donor card and asked them to request a new one for me. I got it yesterday. (Must have been the original one.) So, in 9th grade we did a blood test to see what type we were and I was O+. All this time, 17 years, I thought that's what I was. My donor card comes and I'm B+. Huh. Who knew? Thought that was interesting.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 12:02 PM) Good job, and I thought I was 'movie line freak'..... I copy/pasted.

I have an M.D. from Harvard, I am board certified in cardio-thoracic medicine and trauma surgery, I have been awarded citations from seven different medical boards in New England, and I am never, ever sick at sea. So I ask you; when someone goes into that chapel and they fall on their knees and they pray to God that their wife doesn't miscarry or that their daughter doesn't bleed to death or that their mother doesn't suffer acute neural trama from postoperative shock, who do you think they're praying to? Now, go ahead and read your Bible, _Dennis_, and you go to your church, and, with any luck, you might win the annual raffle, but if you're looking for God, he was in operating room number two on November 17, and he doesn't like to be second guessed. You ask me if I have a God complex. Let me tell you something: I am God. -Alec Baldwin - Malice

Yes, he's right, but this concerted effort to destroy Sosa in this town by people that once loved him and worshipped the cork he walked on is pathetic. :headshake

QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 09:33 AM) Disagree, I love Taste. It's the only time I get a Rainbow Cone, b/c I'm rarely in Chicago, and even then I'm not going to drive all the way to the sw side for an ice cream. Plus, the concerts were fun when I was in hs. Rainbow cone? None for me. I'm a Republican!

QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 09:21 AM) Where does it say it is a cut in the increase? Even if it is a cut in the increase, inflation and needs increase, so it would still be a cut. Because I've heard this arguement before from the left. It's a scare tactic. Yes, there's inflation, but the increase is always greater than inflation. How the federal budget can continually rise greater than the average American's raise does is beside me. They should get the same increase/decrease we get.

Love it! Very good!

QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 10:02 AM) Worker on the railroad says to the Sherriff, "Hey we heard you were hung" Sherriff "And they were right too". Blazing Saddles is one of the best "We'll work up the number 6 on 'em." "Number 6? I'm not sure I'm familiar with the number 6." "Well, that's where we go ridin' into town a whompin' and a whoopin' every living thing within an inch of it's life. Except the women folk, of course." "You spare the women?" "Nah, we rape the s*** outta them at the number 6 dance later on."

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 09:54 AM) "Excuse me while I whip this out" Sheriff Bart, Blazing Saddles Oh, I could go on forever with that one.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 01:14 PM) Out of curiosity are these real dollar cuts, or are the cuts in projections? Exactly! It's a cut in the program's annual budget increase. Not an actual cut! Call me a synic, Tex. It's the truth.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 06:42 AM) Go to a doctor If something is wrong, you need to get it fixed, and waiting will only delay the inevitable. And worsen the injury.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 03:32 PM) At least acne waits until you're a teenager before it cums all over your face. Oh. I see the reason for the warning now.

QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 10:49 AM) I'm so glad to read stories like this. I hate when fans of womans basketball act like they could ever compete with men's/boy's teams. They are two different games, it doesn't make the woman's game any worse, it's just a fact What did you guys do? Just run them out of the gym or use physical play? A little of both. The "Round Mound of Rebound" on the girl's team that led the area in scoring and rebounding was pretty easy to push around down low (I got that job)

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 01:15 PM) Close, but that punch line wouldn't come with a warning. What is it? I'm leaving work soon.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 03:20 PM) Saw Breakfast Club. Ferris? Sorry, I heard scenes from Wrigley and wrote off the movie. I guess some of us are just hardcore Sox fans How dare you?!!

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 03:18 PM) Hard rocks are essentially a joke. If you have been in one, you have seen them all. The only thing they are worth is getting a glass from them from each city. Geek!

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 03:11 PM) Yeah, but at least you're in striking distance of the Clark Street Ale House. Mmmmm beer... I think that craptacular Al Capone's themed dinner show place (near Hard Rock and the Wells and Ontario 50s/60s McDonald's - is it still even there anymore?) was a pathetic eyesore. I never went, but I had a couple people ask to go there when we went in for a visit. I slapped them around for the stupid suggestion of course. Yeah, R&R McDonald's and Hard Rock. :puke Of course, I was going to say Wrigley first.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 02:58 PM) :headshake That is just sad. I'm stunned. They probably haven't seen the Breakfast Club either. :headshake

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 02:26 PM) Thanks Tex - people need to sign onto as many of these as they can, make some calls (not you, Mr. Eye!! ) and keep this from getting slipped through.
