I guess I could understand the efficiency argument for Rose, but someone HAD to step up and take those shots while Boozer was out. And a part of his FG% drop is the increase in 3 point attempts. And right now, Rose is shooting 41.6% from 3, which is beautiful. He's .03% above Korver and .03% below Ben Gordon. I'll take that. He's the 4th leading scorer in the NBA and is averaging 8.1 assists. And just for comparison, both Rondo and Westrbook average more TO's per game than Rose, but Rose is well below both in steals. Yes, he can improve on is defense, but really, that's the only thing I could complain about.

In 10 years, people will look back on college basketball uniforms and realize how ridiculously stupid these tight tops and gigantic shorts look.

Got one take-home final done. Tomorrow I'll be revising two sports papers I did throughout the semester and turn in my portfolio with a reflection letter, that'll take care of the two take-homes. Then, I have to write three 2-page film reviews. One in-class final on Tuesday for Marketing and another on Wednesday for film-culture. Let's do this.

I could understand why one wouldn't want to recruit outside of the state, but what does it matter if you're not getting the elite guys. Ya, there are a hell of a lot of great players coming out of Illinois, obviously the Chicago area, but if the top guy is consistently choosing schools other than Illinois, you have to expand your search. They've built a great core but it's a blow when you miss out on guys like Anthony Davis, Derrick Rose, Shannon Brown.

The next 3 days are going to SUCK. Finals week, we meet again.
