    Homework Help

I have to pick one of each and express why. Primary sources are needed. I have no idea where to start. Where can I go for primary sources?
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 02:25 PM) They came all the way back and should of blown out Indiana, except they decided to miss shots as well and let the Pacers hang around before pulling away. No energy in middle quarters. Just a poor overall game. They should blow out the Pacers without Granger and Dunleavy. Hinrich got WAY too many minutes and did nothing well. Ford schooled him all through the 4th. I liked what all the new guys brought. Lots of versatility. This is a deep team right now. And as good as Gordon has been, he forces up the most retarded shots in the world.
  3. QUOTE (BobDylan @ Feb 22, 2009 -> 03:53 AM) I am an angry drunk. That is all. Well s*** ,t he guy in your sig is punching himself in the chest.
  4. ANd Im getting a new tattooooo. Milos f***ing Obilic!
  5. I f***ing hate sutpid people. I just do. Im going back to Serbia. But I still love socks. Oh, and this is the finniesy thing ever. I hate the f***ing snugie.
  6. We don't have the best looking team out there guys, cough, Alexei Ramirez, cough. But Clayton Richard and Lance Broadway totally make up for that.
  7. I would be ecstatic if he was ready to go early in the season. All the sudden our rotation can be pretty damn good if Colon is healthy. Buehrle Danks Floyd Contreras Colon with Poreda, Marquez, Richard and others as insurance. Wow.
  8. So after mulling this over for hours, I love the deal. Hearing now that Salmons is a quite guy makes me think he's gonna enjoy playing for a team with a shot at the playoffs. In Salmons, we get a new, much improved big man, upgrading from Nocioni to Salmons. He also improves our defense on the wings greatly. In Miller, we add a legit center who we can run some plays through. He's an excellent passer and is more consistent than Gooden. He also opens up the lane for Rose since he plays outside a bit more. So our current rotation looks like this... PG Rose SG Gordon SF Deng PF Thomas C Miller 6 Salmons 7 Noah 8 Hinrich 9 Sefolosha 10 Gray 11 Hunter 12 Hughes Not to mention, it gives us another expiring contract for the 2010 off-season, and possibly a 2nd as Salmons can opt out for 2010. And on top of all that, if/when Gordon leaves this summer, we've got a big, legit SG who can take over for him next season.
  9. The latest rumors... Hinrich to LAC for Kaman and Mike Taylor Hughes to either NYK (Rose, James, Robinson?), WAS (Thomas, James?) or PHI (Dalambert?) Hinrich to MIN for 2 of McCants/Collins/Cardinal Thabo to be traded for a young PG (Lowry? Bayless? Ukic?)
  10. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 09:27 PM) I actually like ALL of those senarios, as long as it's Noah that would be leaving and NOT Tyrus. If Hughes wasn't such a pain in the ass, that contract would be a HUGE asset next year. Between him and Miller, thats over 25 million coming off the books after 2010. Those 2 could be key at the trade deadline next year.
  11. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 09:19 PM) Agreed. Keep in mind, the Bulls have been in great situations before where they set themselves up nicely like with the Curry trade getting draft picks and tons of cap space. So who's pissed that the Bulls were offered Chandler first and declined for Noah and Gooden? I'm not, but I know Chandler still has a lot of supporters on this board. It would have been a good trade, but Chandler has been pretty injury prone and really, it would have made more sense if we got Amare or another PF who can actually score.
  12. The Bucks announcers said that Sessions was better than Rose.
  13. QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 09:03 PM) part of it is because he was a starter on probably the worst team in the NBA...but its certainly more than worth noting that John Salmons is dead last in the NBA in +/- at -402......worst on the bulls is Thabo at -87...I am concerned about Rose being 3rd worst on our team at -79...interestingly enough, the guy we are sending (nocioni) is highest on our team at +90 Garbage. Minutes. It's a pointless stat.
  14. Just had a Gala apple. A bit too soft for my liking, but still very good.
  15. QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 06:14 PM) i'll agree to that....especially given that miller is healthy while gooden may not play the rest of the year... Miller has been out since the beginning of February with an ab strain/hip flexor, though he was expected to play tonight for Sac.
  16. QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 06:00 PM) are we really sitting here comparing john f***ing salmons to derrick rose and ben Gordon? Salmons is a 30 year old journey man whos increased PPG is largely due to an enormous spike in 3p% over his career averages (largely suggesting luck), and has never been a solid starter for an entire year in the NBA til he got an just a dreadfully bad Kings team this year Clearly it's luck that Salmons is hitting a better % of his shots than Gordon. Look at the numbers. The Bulls are a horrible team too and I don't see Gordon putting up All-Star numbers. I agree that Gordon is better than Salmons, but what you miss in scoring you make up for in size and defense. The knock on Salmons is that he gets selfish sometimes and will force up some shots. You'd be a damn liar to say you couldn't say the same thing about Gordon.
  17. QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 05:55 PM) My point is that Salmons ppg are so inflated because he is the #2 on a horrible team. There isn't another team in the league that he would be a #2 on.....Youre right, Salmons has an impressive FG %, much better than Hughes..I should have been more clear, my point in comparing him to hughes was defensively where the previous poster was saying that hes a legit 6-6 and a better defender than gordon (saying anyone is a better defender than gordon is also like saying someone is better looking than rosie odonell) Derrick Rose is the #2 on a horrible team...
  18. QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 05:36 PM) this franchise clearly is playing for 2011....why is everyone excited about this trade? Gooden is younger and better than brad miller, and was an expiring contract. Maybe Miller is a better defender with a bigger body, but not by much. John salmons is an average player on a horrible team which has caused his PPG to skyrocket...players like salmons are a dime a dozen, IMO he's barely an upgrade over nocioni...Part of me is angry because the NBA is clearly a superstar league and instead of landing the superstars over the years we end up with guys Brad Miller. On the other hand I think this sends a message that we will be real players in the 2010 FA class as we cleared up Noc's deal for that year Gordon: 20.4 ppg Salmons 18.3 ppg Gordon: .450 FG% Salmons: .472 FG% Gordon: .417 3PT% Salmons: .418 3PT% Salmons is also a legit 6'6 and plays better defense than Gordon. No one is proclaiming that we're gonna make the Finals because of this deal, but we certainly improve our team NOW and help our cap situation in the future.
