  1. Figgins for Dye makes me want to vomit.
  2. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 12, 2009 -> 05:56 PM) I had a pretty good feeling it would be a psycheout. Ha, the thought that it wasn't April 1st crossed my mind for a second...
  3. I read the thread title, my heart sunk, I got excited, then thought "No way, this isn't possible." Then I though, "Well, KW is f***ing crazy" and then I read the 1st post and posted this.
  4. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 12, 2009 -> 10:21 AM) Subotic is very good in Football Manager 2009 (don't know why I bring that up, but I did). Serbia also has those 2 youngsters Tosic and Llanic IIRC, that Man United just signed. Vidic is argubly the best center back in the world today. Tosic will join the Man Utd club immediately, wearing kit #14, while Adem Ljajic will remain with Partizan until January 2010, when he is 18. Man Utd was also recently seen courting ANOTHER young Serbian, this one is 16 year old Filip Djuricic, who is widely regarded as the best player on Serbia's loaded U17 team which also features YouTube sensation Nikon Jevtic. Ever since the disgusting display of SCG in the World Cup, they Serbian teams has undertaken a revolution of sorts, replacing older Ex-Yu players like Jevric, Duljaj, Koroman, Kezman, Milosevic, Krstajic, etc. with new talent that is dispersed all around the world. It's huge news in Serbia right now, the sheer amount of young talent from Serbia that giant clubs around the world are signing, and it all really started with Vidic going to Man Utd and establishing himself as a World Class defender.
  5. 19/Far South-East side, currently in Western Michigan.
  6. Thought I'd bump this back up. Borussia Dortmund center back Neven Subotic decided to play internationally for Serbia recently, picking them over the USA, Bosnia/Hercegovina, and Germany. This potentially gives Serbia the most talented group of young defenders in the world with Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea), Nemenja Vidic (Man Utd), Neven Subotic (Dortmund), and Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio).

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 6, 2009 -> 09:06 AM) Wow. You seem to gravitate to a lot of bad movies. A lot of them were when I was hunting in the UP and had no choice or over Winter Break when I was really bored.

  9. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 4, 2009 -> 04:21 PM) In that list you have two teams that have stellar franchise rookie qb's, four qb's that have already been to a superbowl, one team with the best back in the league (and a good D), and two teams with the top 2 defenses in the league year in, year out. I would take all of those QB's over the last 26 the Bears have thrown out. Pennington might be the one exception, but even if I were stuck with that choice, I'd sign him and put him in competition with Orton. I wouldn't take Collins (age) or Jackson (aka the Black Rex Grossman) over Orton. The others, yes. I'm iffy about Pennington but I wanted him last off-season. He can't throw the deep ball, but he's very accurate under about 20 yards.
  10. Floyd for Roberts = hell no. Even with an extension for Roberts, pitching and defense wins. If no extension for Roberts, then f*** NO.
  11. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 31, 2008 -> 12:54 PM) So Bulls vs. Magic to kick off in 15 or so. Should be an interesting game. Nelson's been hindered with a foot injury lately, so Rose has a chance for a good game. I imagine that Courtney Lee will get the job on Ben Gordon for most of the 2nd half. Dwight vs. Gray is a mismatch of all proportions. Good chance for a 20/20 game I'd say. I got Dwight down for 33 pts, 14 boards, and 6 blocks. Zoom has 27/17/5.
  12. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 31, 2008 -> 09:14 AM) I see people overseas wearing White Sox hats all the time. It's only for the style and not because they actually support the team. Ya don't say?
  13. QUOTE (chwhtsox @ Dec 30, 2008 -> 09:15 AM) Fierce cologne Ugh, I hate that damn cologne. Every time you go in the store, the hair in your nostrils is torched because of that s***.

    Who am I?

Who am I? I'm a Welschman. My mother was a circus clown. I was first seen in fabric softener commercials in the early 80s. I am frequently made fun of for my voice in movies. I am married to the assistant of another actress.

  18. QUOTE (jenks45monster @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 07:43 PM) ??? He's not saying that Paulie alone could net us Cain AND Sanchez. He's saying that it would be a possibility to deal Konerko for ONE OF Cain or Sanchez.
  19. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 08:19 PM) Hmm, I see what you did there. I'll take my disappointing Cowboys team over a pathetic Bears squad anyday. Yeah, definitely a huge gap between the two 9-7 teams. Get back to us when you're over getting your butts handed to you by the Eagles with a spot in the playoffs on the line.
  20. QUOTE (jenks45monster @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 05:00 PM) That's exactly what it meant. No way in hell could Paulie alone net us both Cain AND Sanchez. You should re-read that...
  21. 3-0 Hawks on the Havlat score. That was beautiful hockey right there. How many games in a row have we made the road crowd boo?
  22. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 05:56 PM) I find it funny that a Bears fan finds some humor out of this.... Bitter much? DAL is one of the most talented teams in the league, was considered a Super Bowl contender, and had control of its OWN destiny. The Bears needed help to get into the playoffs and still beat expectations anyway. Not only do I find humor in it, I think its hilarious and I'm enjoying every bit of it. I hate Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. Maybe they can get Chad Johnson this offseason? Maybe Rodney Harrison too.
