  1. Way to pitch over it Javy! Let's score some f***ing runs.
  2. This f***ing Milken guy doesn't make this 2-0 game any easier to watch.
  3. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 07:47 PM) ? This guy is in the booth talking about Prostate Cancer and how homeruns give the foundation money. Gomez hits one out and he's like "Yes! Awesome! This is fantastic!"
  4. WTF? The cause is great for this guy but you don't say that s*** on a White Sox broadcast.
  5. Cabrera made that look a lot easier than it was.
  6. Even when he smokes 'em, Swish can't catch a break.
  7. CQ flies out to right-center. Why the f*** is Gomez wearing a mouth-piece?
  8. Cabrera grounds out on the 1st pitch. AJ gets hit in the foot, 1 on 1 out for CQ.
  9. Blackburn's BAA is .303. Let's smack this guy around some.
  10. Man, Quentin has gotten some of the toughest line drives hit to him. I don't recall any other LF with the Sox having so many line drives hit right out in front of him.
  11. In High School I had "Hustlin'" by Rick Ross for when I pitched and "One" by Metallica when I batted. Good times.
  12. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 03:24 PM) What did the five fingers say to the face? :SLAP: "Cold blooooooded!"
  13. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 11:46 PM) Andrew Friedman has done a nice job. Then again, I think I could do a nice job if I walked into a system that was loaded beyond belief due to having the #1 draft pick for like 15 consecutive years. He did a nice job trading for Wheeler, signing Percival, acquiring Garza. But he walked into a system containing more talent than any team in baseball, and it's not particularly close. I'd be more apt to give Joe Maddon Manager of the Year than Andrew Friedman Executive of the Year. Agreed. The Rays have drafted 1st overall a lot and have sucked for years. Finally, he lets some of those top picks develop and puts it together but he DID become GM in 2005. I don't see them sticking around all season though. 2008: Tim Beckham, #1 overall 2007: David Price, #1 overall 2006: Evan Longoria, #3 overall 2005: Wade Townsend, #9 overall 2004: Jeff Niemann, #4 overall 2003: Delmon Young, #1 overall 2002: B.J. Upton, #2 overall (also got Kazmir #15 overall in the Victor Zambrano trade) 2001: Dewon Brazleton, #3 overall 2000: Rocco Baldelli, #6 overall (Shields was their 16th rounder) 1999: Josh Hamilton, #1 overall (Carl Crawford was their 2nd rounder) Tampa Bay's success has come from good/high draft picks.
  14. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 11:50 PM) well, I got 7 picks correct in my final mock draft. Not too bad. You're the man.
  15. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 04:51 PM) Who are we hoping for in RD 3? Jordan Danks would be nice.
  16. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 04:47 PM) Nice. Becks hands stay a bit lower, but really close. Yeah, that's one thing that will have to be addressed with his swing. He drops his hands and brings them back up, but his swing is very similar to ARods. If he gives us anything close to that, we'll have succeeded.
