IMO, DJ's interpretation of the play was the better than Hawk's rampage. We expect outbursts like that from Hawk, but DJ delivered some good stuff too with everything that was lost in translation. "It's just a straight-forward double run-down."

I wish I had 1 billion dollars to invest in garbage.

My hopes for the rest of this month and next: Offense scores 7 in the first 6 innings. Thome, Dye, Iguchi do well. Starters pitch well for 7 innings. Bullpen comes in and blows the game.

Just speculation here, no legs to any of this, but would we consider going after Baldelli this off-season? His value is going to be at an all-time low coming off of an injury, and the DRays already have a surplus of outfield talent.

Catfish wiskers cannot spear you. The last needle on the back fin is cartilage that has small amounts of a non-lethal poison, which makes the cut burn. It's not that big of a deal Hawk and DJ. It's a harmless fish.
