  1. QUOTE(Big Hurt Way Back @ Jun 26, 2005 -> 01:11 PM) I'd be more comfortable with Buehrle because I just have the confidence in him to shut everybody down. I'd hate to see Garland get lit up in the national spotlight of the all star game. Guess he hasn't proved to me yet that he can. Today's game surely would help.!! I agree. To be the best (Garland), you have to beat one of the best (Prior.)
  2. QUOTE(POPPY_HIDALGO @ Jun 26, 2005 -> 11:27 AM) HOLY f*** SOX ARE LOSING TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Garland just isn't going to be able to cut it. Not like it makes a difference though. This is a World Series team! Winning the season series against the Cubs doesn't mean much and its not going to happen. There is no shame is a 3-3 series tie. : Go home. Anyway....EAT s*** FLUBBIES! GARLAND WILL PWN YOU TODAY! GO SOX!
  3. QUOTE(Big Hurt Way Back @ Jun 26, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) I think in his last start he was brilliant, if he pitches like that he will shut these fools down.!!! He was brilliant and with his awesome start to the season, we have grown to accept brilliance and only brilliance from him. He is still young and look's like he has finally turned it around. But like I said, we're gonna need another stellar performance out of him today against Prior.
  4. One of the ESPN reporter/analysts/"experts" said earlier today that he would still take Buehrle and Willis to start the ASG....fyi.
  5. This game will show me that this team doesnt ALWAYS get down after 1 loss and that they can turn their s*** around quick. Especially with Prior pitching, this game will be huge. Garland has to be the 8-0 Garland not the 4-2 Garland.
  6. Contreras has too many problems. One game he dominates, the next 2 he blows. He has serious confidence issues. He threw that forkball to ARam right after he threw a forkball for a wild-pitch. So, he get's scared and lobs it right own the middle of the plate. He's like a f***ing ostrich. He does something wrong and buries his head in the sand...in this case, his ass.
  7. It's nice to see. s***, even Crede has hit it the other way a bit. If only Uribe could turn his ass around...
  8. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) There's a reason McCarthy isn't pitching on Sunday and it isn't just cuz Garland will be pitching on normal rest. Yeah, we don't want to give Garland an extra day off!
  9. QUOTE(Nokona @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 05:05 PM) I heard that Cuban will throw one down on him at the press conference. HAHAHAHAHAA!
  10. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 08:04 PM) Uhhh, no. I was thinking that too. I haven't seen anything from McCarthy that would lead me to beleive that.
  11. QUOTE(wsox08 @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 06:50 PM) 12-2 HELL YEAH,,, LETS SWEEP!!!!!!! EDIT THAT NOW! NO SWEEP EMOTICON UNTIL WE ACTUALLY DO SO!

  14. As long as we can get to the pitchers early and get their pitch count up, we'll be fine.
  15. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 07:46 PM) Maybe Dusty gets his roster info from Jeff Brantley. Freddy Guzman was light out today AND we didn't have to use Chad Hermanson.
