I don't belive in his ability as an OF....at all. He can't move out there, even in LF. As bad as Eloy is, he's a better option in LF than Vaughn. Vaughn is a 1B/DH.

I don't want them to trade him for just anyone. I recognize his value. I just think that the board overrates his value league wide. He's a RH hitting 1B. As good as his potential is, that's not exactly a valuable piece.

Sure. Just as Vaughn still has potential, so does Keller. You guys are overrating Vaughn and underrating Keller just because Vaughn is under team control of the Sox.

Again, from the Pirates point of view Vaughn hit .235 with an OPS barely over .700 and a 68 wRC+ against RHP. Both guys kinda sucked as rookies

Keller and Luzardo have + stuff so why is Vaughn the only player capable of improving? What makes Vaughn a stud hitter in the making but Keller/Luzardo are doomed to be eternal gascans?

If Vaughn can get better, why couldn't Keller or Luzardo? They were all rookies last year.

Oakland doesn't have anyone worth Vaughn. If Luis Castillo wasn't injured, that's a guy I'd trade Vaughn for.
