Can Vaughn play RF? I wasn't sure his arm was good enough but others seem to disagree.

Giolito's command is always a bit worse in the 1st inning and his velo is also always a bit lower from the stretch. Not worried....yet.

I'm not, but some guys have been transparent about what they're working on as long as it doesn't put them at a competitive disadvantage. I liked that and wish they would do it more often.

I read in some article Katz had Cease do the weighted ball training when his delivery was out of sync to start the season, and afterward Cease has gone on a tear. Maybe Gio should do that, I know he's done it before.

How long does it take Katz or Giolito himself to realize that Giolito's delivery is slightly out of whack? Same thing happened early in the last two seasons where he started the season with his delivery slightly off but fixed it later. I've seen a couple 96-97s this year from him so he still has it in him, so what the hell is going on other than this? All three of his pitches aren't as crisp as they were the majority of the last two seasons. It sucks that Gio's delivery is so fragile and it's hard for him to repeat it. That being said, I saw somewhere that he has a 2.86 ERA outside of the Boston start even with the issues.

I've always been a proponent of wOBA. it takes both SLG and OBP into account and weights all outcomes of reaching base.
