  1. I'd like nothing more than to get banned but the mods won't do it, even though I've asked multiple times. I waste way too damn much time on here.
  2. It's one of the most memorable moments in baseball history and it's celebrated.
  3. It seems like Giolito is getting away with zero mistakes this year. Every time he throws a meatball it ends up a HR.
  4. Sports are entertainment dude. Fans find lack of emotion boring. Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson were great. More of that please.
  5. This thread is entirely schtick. Do you not know about Ron/Abreu yet????
  6. Keuchel gives up a lot of grounders and doesn't give up a lot of HR which is what is keeping him from being Shields bad. He's getting knocked around a lot though, they're just singles and doubles rather than HRs. The difference between a flyball pitcher and a groundball pitcher.
  7. No, continuing to pitch him out of the bullpen and the fact his clock has been started is what's short sighted. The Sox spent the 11th pick on him and they should give him the opportunity to start. Special arm.
  8. Probably a better choice. The other thing is that when Crochet has command of his arsenal even MLB hitters struggle to hit him, despite being "only" 96-97 now. It's hard to develop a guy while simultaneously trying to win. I'm a big believer in Crochet's stuff but I'm not sure he can be used in anything but mop-up at the MLB level at the moment. When he locates, he's unhittable but that's like 1/4 of his outings this year.
  9. I'm not sure I want him relieving in a playoff game with the current state of his command. His ERA is great but the WHIP....yikes.
  10. I don't think many of them were available when the Bulls picked, so that's shitty luck more than anything else. With Mitchell, it's hard to take a 6-1 PG top ten.
  11. If Fry comes back I hope they send Crochet down to get stretched out and start. His command has taken a step back this year. I think he can still be effective at in the high 90s rather than 100+ because his secondary pitches are that good. He's not MLB ready if he's not throwing triple digits.
