I find it in bad taste personally. Talking shit between players on the field? Have at it. I find heckling pro athletes from the stands ridiculous. You haven't earned the right to talk shit to players unless you have the talent and work ethic to be their peer on the field. If you're not on the field with them, then STFU. I'm of the opinion that hecklers should get tossed from the ballpark. There's no place for that in this day and age. That being said, if you want to call the Sports Blab stations and rip a player a new asshole, be my guest, because that is a space for fans.

I really don't think teams would be interested in any of the Kanny pitchers, they've all been pretty awful. If the Sox want to make a deal, they'd probably have to trade either Madrigal or Crochet. I really like Crochet but I don't think he's ever going to reach his potential with the way the Sox are using him. If they could trade for a RF with 3 years of control for him that fixes that black hole, I'd consider it. Sadly, the Sox don't have any prospect capital left to supplement the core. Maybe they could get something for guys like Sheets/Rutherford/Adolfo who are doing well in the high minors and are out of options.

I think Glasnow would drive Sox fans nuts because he only goes 5 innings per start, even if they're a very good 5 innings. But yeah, I'm in complete agreement here. It sucks that the Sox couldn't get Pittsburgh to make that deal in the winter of 2016-17.

The Cubs issue is that they traded the wrong guys. They should have internally scouted better and kept Eloy/Torres/Cease and traded Schwarber/Almora Question for Sox fans: Would you rather have Jimenez/Cease or Meadows/Glasnow? The answer is easy for me but I'm not going to say who I'd prefer.

It's a compulsive habit bordering on addiction. I've wanted to quit posting here and on another site for 2 years but I can't help myself. I've tried numerous times to quit but it's only lasted a week.
