Yup, Grandal, Abreu and Giolito will be fine.
-
He seemed like a fine dude, but he sucked. I still don't know how you could scout Vandy for Carson Fulmer but miss Walker Buehler.
-
I find it annoying that they're not destroying Carson Fulmer.
-
This is the best game of Cease's career.
-
Fair enough
-
He did, but I wouldn't expect that often. It was Detroit. Shutting down this offense in this stadium is mighty impressive.
-
Well, yeah. Right now=last 2 games.
-
He's looking like peak Rich Harden right now. Nasty, but goes 6 IP on his best days because he throws a lot of pitches.
-
OMG, has Cease figured it out??????
-
If they're going to get pitching like this they're not.
-
All three of his batted balls were over 102 mph. Safe to say he's back now.
-
WTF is Abreu swinging at?
-
Moncada is back, guys. No matter how much shit I give Moncada and Giolito at times they're still my favorite players on the team. I'm hard on them because I expect a lot from them.

Is this somewhere between Peavy and Bo Jackson? So are you saying that Eloy could lose some of his power as well? -

At the very least, they should get one guy as good or slightly better than Dunning, that's my opinion. If they can't at least recoup someone of that value then keep them. -

Offseason trades are different from midseason trades. You get more for rentals during the season than in the offseason. They should be able to get someone better than Dunning for both guys. -

No, I think he's fine. I think he's having a delivery issue that needs to be straightened out. I think he'll get it together eventually. -

Even if Kopech replaces one of them? Giolito and Kopech are still good, and Cease is improved over last year. The package they get for Lynn/Rodon could extend the window even further, and you're not willing to do that in a tough year for injury luck? It's just poor asset management. Trading Lynn/Rodon in a lost year due to injuries is what a smart front office would do. -

They still have enough good pieces without them that tanking isn't possible, unless guys just quit because they hate TLR. I think they should cash in on Rodon and Lynn though. -

I think they should sell the guys on one year deals, go to war with what they have otherwise and hope for the best. -
