  1. Yes. I saw the highs(Clemson game) and the lows (Northwestern and Indiana) Not only did I see a guy who was late with his throws, but the dude is inaccurate. After watching the Northwestern game I didn't think he was a 1st round pick. What he did against Clemson didn't change my mind.
  2. lol. One of the things I never want to hear about a QB is "struggles to go through progressions and read defenses" which is Fields biggest knock. That's where the Trubisky comparison comes in.
  3. The only QB I would have been happy with out of this draft is Lawrence, and that wasn't happening. If the Bears stayed at 20 and got Fields I'd have been ok with that. I can't help but think they just traded a top 5 pick next year for a guy that probably sucks. They just made the Trubisky mistake twice.
  4. It's Detroit, give it a rest. They're an AAA team and the Sox already lost one game to them.
  5. I can't get over the Northwestern and Indiana games from Fields. I just can't.
  6. I have no idea who this guy is but he has a blue check mark.
  7. I mean, he still has a 3.45 SIERA and his other peripherals are great so he'll be fine. Based on how they're pitching right now, that's how I'd line 'em up. I think Giolito will be the guy from the last two years by the end of the season if he still has 96-97 in him, and I think he can still be very good even if he doesn't, if not quite ace level. I'm not jumping off the wagon at all, but right now he's the Sox 3rd or 4th best starter, depending on how you view Kopech.
  8. Katz has brought both Giolito and Rodon's career back from the dead.
  9. It's only one month, but he's #1 right now. If I had to decide: Rodon Lynn Giolito Keuchel Cease Or if Kopech moves to the rotation: Rodon Lynn Kopech Giolito Keuchel
  10. I know, that's why I asked. In any event, this shouldn't be coming from the #1 Abreu hater on the board.
  11. I mean, Moncada and Giolito taking steps backward is not good. They really need Moncada to get going otherwise they're going to struggle to score all year. He's getting some singles here and there but the XBH are nowhere to be found. Then, Giolito has been figured out a bit as hitters have figured out that they don't really have to worry about a 3rd pitch.
  12. It's funny....most thought that the rotation was the issue out of ST and the offense and bullpen would be fine. The opposite has been true.
  13. I think we're about to see Belichick with Rodgers.
  14. Crochet already has a ton of spin and carry on his heater.
  15. Was worth the risk, it's hard to get really good players at 11 or later and Crochet is an arm you bet on. It's always possible when a pitcher gains velocity that quickly that all of it doesn't stick. 96-98 from a LHP is still damn good velocity.
  16. I'm fine picking whichever guy is left of Mond/Mills/Trask in the 3rd round, and if they're all gone then trade down in the 3rd.
  17. They're so bad that they'd completely waste the QB's rookie contract regardless of whether or not the guy is good.
  18. I don't necessarily think it will happen but I think there's an outside chance that it happens.
  19. They can b**** and whine all they want but if it happens, there's not much they can do about it. They already agreed to a CBA so there are no negotiations to be had.
  20. The Bears didn't have a 1st for 2 years, they can't afford from a roster standpoint to trade any more 1st round picks, unless they want to get really bad really quickly.
