You are correct, but I meant soon. I give them through the end of 2022 and then they're whacked. I think that Nagy/Pace have more job security than most but I think the next two seasons are going to be so bad that they'll have no choice but to fire those clowns. Hell, this season might be bad enough to get them fired, but I don't think that McCaskey will fire them after one bad season.

I look at him and I see Matt Barkley. We've already seen that guy in a Bear uniform and it wasn't good. Outside of Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, and Lance I wouldn't take any remaining QB in the 1st 3 rounds.

That's of course, if they feel the need to draft a QB. I'd rather they not. Mond in the 2nd is more palatable for me than Jones in the first or trading the future for a guy who is likely to be a bust. Say no to a 1st round QB. Everyone's talking about Quarterbacks so I responded to that.

I don't either, which is why I'm against the Bears drafting a QB this year. QBs are always overdrafted, and I think that all of Mond/Trask/Mills will be gone by the Bears 3rd rounder. If they want one, they'll have to grab one in the 2nd, and I'm against that.

If Jacksonville wanted a 3rd 1st, I'd even move down from 20 to 33/45. You could get 3 good players at 33, 45 and 52. Even try to move back up a couple spots with Baltimore for 31.

I agree with it too, I would prefer that they don't take a QB at all, because I'm not a fan of Jones and he's probably the only guy that would fall anywhere close to the Bears. I don't want them to waste a 2nd/3rd on a QB either. Just pick good players in the top 3 rounds and pick Newman or Franks in the 5th round, if you have to placate the fanbase. Smart football people realize that the Bears shouldn't draft a QB this year. If they're going to take a QB, the earliest I'd do it is in the 3rd round and if none of Trask/Mond/Mills are available, then just pass on QB this year.
