  1. I've been watching BTTF since I was a toddler and it never gets old.
  2. Anyone home McFly?
  3. RF musings: They have to either break camp with Madrigal and play Leury there or give Basabe or Gonzalez a shot. Delmonico is not major league quality in any way. I'd rather not give away runs to Minne and Cleveland by playing a butcher in RF.
  4. That's my feeling too. He might never pitch for the Sox.
  5. 5 IP 5 H 2 ER 7/1 K/BB. Good enough for 5th starter?
  6. Nowhere near good enough defensively to play RF.
  7. Rodon+Grandal=He Gone! Anderson is gonna get a lot of bullshit if he continues to swing at it.
  8. I just came here to post that.
  9. What are they going to do if they don't have a home by Friday? Could that kill the season?
  10. I'm very interested in this game tonight for the sole reason of Carlos Rodon.
  11. officially official. Now we have to deal with the rally Engel.
  12. Whether or not one gets symptoms is an indvidual thing. Some people will, some people won't.
  13. We're early in this so I'd assume that the tests aren't sensitive enough to make that determination yet.
  14. The test that MLB uses(saliva) is all about reaching a certain threshold of viral concentration. If the concentration is below what is detectable, infected players will continue to test negative until that threshold is reached. That is basic science, and it's pretty easy to understand.
  15. It's about not having enough virus in your system to be detectable...that's the issue. A person is going to test negative until the virus replicates enough and there is a high enough concentration of it in saliva to be detectable.
  16. There are people that don't test positive until they get symptoms. Others don't get sick at all and test positive, having no idea they were even exposed.
  17. You can spread it asymptomatically and the incubation period for symptoms is 7-10 days. He's been around the team for a week before he got sick, who knows who else was exposed. This is going to be an interesting test for the MLB protocol. Given the science, he was probably spreading for 2-4 days before he knew he was sick.
