Cease starts game 1 on Wednesday
Yes. His family is loaded. They've been in the entertainment industry. It isn't like he ever has to worry about money.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
He's trying to add players with team control.

Bummer>>>>>>Cimber. Cimber is a sidewinding RHP that throws 88 mph. Bummer is a flamethrowing LHP that throws 98. Not even close in terms of value.

Actually quite the opposite. It will be really hard to keep Moncada and Giolito after their team control is up. They both have money already, they're more likely to test FA. Bring everyone up ASAP. I honestly wouldn't complain one bit if they brought up Madrigal and Robert tomorrow, because they're both advanced enough that they won't learn anything in the minors. Give them an entire offseason to make adjustments to MLB pitching and let's fucking go in 2020.

He might still end up an MLB player, but it won't be with the Sox and losing 2 years of development immediately out of college puts the odds against him ever getting there. He's going to be 24 years old during his first full MiLB season.

Moncada
I've moved on, but the screaming about it is going to be even worse when the Sox are winning. God forbid their WS opponent is the Padres. FFS, that would be a b****fest unlike any other. People love to complain. Look at the other side of town. They've had their most successful stretch in 80+ years and all of the Score callers are Blah Blah Quintana blah blah Jimenez blah blah. Can I get a Harumph out of you about the Q trade? Harumph. People Loooove to be miserable. Anyway about Moncada 24.6 K% for anyone who is wondering.

2019-2020 Official NBA Thread
What I mean is that he's a player that makes his teammates worse by his very presence. I can't necessarily say he's selfish, but it could be argued. Every time he was hurt under Hoiberg they played better basketball and won more games. When he was healthy, they lost more games. I wish I could go look at the Bulls W-L record with and without Lavine since the Butler trade.

And that’s a white Sox Twinkie slaying series win
Cruz is a roider. Take him with a grain of salt, regardless of whether or not he's clean now.

Lavine is JR Smith, and other teams haven't figured it out yet. The Bulls are much more efficient on offense and defense without Lavine on the court. Lavine's 25 pts are spread amongst the 5 guys on the floor when he's not playing, and the entire team plays better on both ends without him. He makes Markkanen worse by being on the floor with him. Markkanen without Lavine is a budding star. Markkanen with Lavine is an ok player.

All Star Lucas Giolito
Touche. I was the person that argued for his TOR potential the most, when he was at his lowest. The vast majority of this site wanted him DFA. You should see my Lopez vs Gio arguments from last August. I nailed that one.

If you could get Russell for free and trade Lavine, would you? I would. Lavine doesn't mesh well with the rest of the team. They play better when he's not on the court.

LMAO. You win the interwebs.

I think I deserve this

GT: Twins (53-29) @ White Sox (38-42), June 30
With Kopech and Rodon healthy, and Cease from 4/15 I think they'd be about 10 games over tbh. RE: Kopech/Rodon being injured, better now than in 2022.

Ricky is stupid. He should start running again. Imagine Moncada with 25 SB per season. Sexy.

Moncada has cut his K rate to 24% for June. He's about to explode into superstardom

Have I said that I fucking hate the Twins today?

I'm torn on this because I don't think much of Collins. That being said, he needs to get AB at the MLB level so they can evaluate him

I don't do it because I don't want to be that guy with the Gordon Beckham Jersey
