  1. Yeah the Sawx are really working him over. Betts and Martinez are all over him. All you can really ask is for him to keep them in the game. The Sawx lineup is locked in to say the least.
  2. I would have attacked Moreland the same way I can't believe he laid off all of those.
  3. High gas away should get him. Edit: can't believe he laid off that.
  4. There is no shame in getting beat by Betts and Martinez.
  5. He always loses a tick off the fastball from the stretch.
  6. It wasn't before, but it is now. He has no feel for it anymore. His slider is nasty too, stick with the curve as a show me pitch. Betts and Martinez are wearing him out.
  7. Yeah, that shouldn't go out of the park. Benintendi got that off the end of the bat.
  8. He's got #2 ability in him if he keeps this up. He's never going to be the Sox #1 with Kopech and Cease here.
  9. Are you saying that he's on the juice? Go hang with Taylor St Sox.
  10. Yeah, now he has to adjust back. He's getting a ton of soft stuff early for strikes
  11. They're getting Moncada out by getting him in front of change ups in the middle of the plate. He's been popping up on center cut changes for 10 days now. He has to wait back and crush those. He's identifying them as fastballs.
  12. That isn't horrible. Progress. 2K. That whole inning was created by Betts and Martinez. Jis stuff is good. The Sawx have a good offensive team.
  13. I completely agree about retrofitting being too expensive, hence why new construction is the way to go.
  14. Sooner rather than later, hopefully. Would be nice for 90 degree summer nights as well. They should just make a rule that all new stadium construction must have a retractable roof. Before too long Wrigley and Fenway would be the only ones left.
  15. I think that teams should be required to have a retractable roof. Make rainouts a thing of the past.
  16. Dude should speak up. He should know better than to fuck around with his arm. He's already had surgery once.
  17. It's not Coop's fault that pitchers are getting injured, but the pitches he's having them throw are curious to say the least. Sinkers and 92 mph fastballs aren't the greatest idea in modern baseball.
  18. Ooh this is a good post. Preach on, brother.
  19. Was it you that was complaining when I made that comp last night, or were we arguing the Hurt/Cubs stuff?
  20. Yup. It wouldn't surprise me if the Sox now have a long stretch of bad luck because of the law of averages
  21. Exactly. It is time for a move to the bullpen for Rodon, when he returns. People thought I was nuts when I said I thought it was time for him to go to the bullpen.
