QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 11:37 AM) I bet they through a Boise State vs. TCU bowl game, and if they do that I'll be very angry. I want to see those to teams play power conference teams and dominate. Boise would get waxed by any of the BCS teams. TCU could hang with any of the BCS teams given a month to prepare. -
QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 11:28 AM) The DQ was total bulls***, but the blows were illegal. It's a bulls*** rule, but it's still a rule. How was it bulls***? Other than no nut shots, the 12-6 elbow rule is the easiest to follow and know. Yes accidents happen but those werent accidental elbows. Those were just a fighter being stupid and not thinking. Jones deserved to be DQ'd but doesnt matter because he "won" the fight in everyone elses eyes and will still move up the ladder. Hopefully start facing some good competition because in reality, Hamill isnt that good. Kimbo slamming Houston was fun but Kimbo probably had 20 pounds on him. Alexander fought like a p**** but the sideshow aspect was entertaining. Overall the event sucked. Good thing there were good college games on to occupy my time.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 6, 2009 -> 12:05 AM) After seeing Texas barely win against a mediocre team, I don't know if I want them in the title game. It'd be great to see TCU or Cincy in there. Nebraska's defense is in the same league as Alabama and Florida's. But Alabama's offense is so much better than NU's so I would say Tide by 10 right now. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 5, 2009 -> 10:09 PM) The Illini with an impressive seven-point win over the highly ranked Boise State Broncos...oh wait, this is basketball, not football. Oh well, a win's a win. Boise St +17 was an easy pick. Illinois coming off that great comeback was expected to have a big letdown. -
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 4, 2009 -> 05:10 PM) Its really terrible. The girl kept saying "look at me, I mean look at me" like she was hot, but all I saw was a fat girl with a couple of pounds of cellulite cascading down her thighs. If you scratched anyone of them your finger nail would be full of orange crap. I cant believe people actually think those types of tans and hairstyles look good.

QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Dec 4, 2009 -> 10:21 AM) I don't know where he's training at, but he's 35 already, so he needs to get with some top-class HW wrestlers and just focus on takedowns and positioning, because that man has some pretty vicious GNP potential. He may not be a wrestler at a base level, but his strength, power, and explosiveness could have him taking down a lot of guys at HW, and as long as he can do that and keep them there, he's got a pretty good chance of doing some damage IMO. I'm pretty sure he's with Gracie Tampa. Florida isnt known for the greatest of heavyweights or good wrestlers so it would probably be better off if he got in a better camp. But being 35, his other obligations might hinder his thoughts on moving to another area.

Very good draw for us today. Really was expecting something bad after seeing us paired with the English. A draw vs England would be HUGE. I think the group with Germany,Ghana, Serbia and Australia is the toughest. I dont see Australia moving on but they could spoil someone's tournament with a win. (Something North Korea cant do which is why I give this group the edge) Anyone of the other 3 could easily finish in the tiop 2.

In fairness to the FSU player who didnt move, its not like the other lineman who did move picked up any blocks either. -

QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 3, 2009 -> 06:10 PM) Rumor out of South Bend that they'll be a coaching announcement with the next week. Sounds like Kelly but the Stoops rumors persist. Heard on ESPN Radio(Cowherd's show I think) that Stoops is in the process of builing the 3rd biggest house/mansion in the Norman area. -
Decided I just had to turn on the show Jersey Shore on MTV. I dont watch anything on the music channels but couldnt help myself. Holy s*** these losers are going to make me kill myself if I watch another episode this season.

f***ing Clemson. Those loser's really know how to s*** themselves. Nice win for Miami. We got a couple of young guards who might become very good players as the season goes on. -

QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 11:44 PM) You could get lucky though. They might not want Clemson playing in Florida both in the ACC Championship and a bowl game close by in Orlando. This after playing in Jax last year. I know the Car Bowl would love to get them. Who knows with the Gator Bowl trying to get us. I don't think it's right that a 6-6 team gets a bowl like that though. However, like I said, its all about the $$$. I know its the Bowden-West Virginia factor but I think it would be more fun to watch a FSU-South Carolina Music City Bowl. Bowden vs Spurrier was HUGE here in Florida during the 90s and it would be fun to see it one last time. -

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 2, 2009 -> 12:14 PM) Who you guys got tonight: Alcorn State or Kansas? The Braves are off to a very impressive 0-9 start with their closest loss coming by 15 points. This could be a tough one for Jimbo's Jayhawks. Wonder who is going to keep it closer vs Kansas, Alcorn or UCLA? I'm thinking push. -

QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 11:36 PM) Its just like every other bowl, they just want to sell out. I hope we say f*** you to the Gator bowl for last year and go to the Champs. Thats where I want Miami to end up so I can go to it. But Clemson will probably end up there now if they lose Saturday night. -

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 09:55 PM) The SEC bowl selection process by the Bowl committees, absolutely disgraceful. That is all. Not as bad as the ACC's selections. The ACC is doing everything they can to send Florida State to a New Year's Day Bowl which will probably end up sending Miami to the Music City Bowl. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 08:59 PM) Northwestern won and Penn State's win put the Big Ten is solid shape. Purdue will make it 3-0 Big Ten, but it could easily finish 3-3 by the end of the night. As far as I'm concerned, at this point, the Big Ten doesn't need Michigan State to win for the Big Ten to win. Not surprised with the start of the ACC/Big 10 Challenge. I was hoping UVA could pull off a win but they really suck. If Maryland loses then its over. -

Another Florida Gator player arrested today. This time its starting DE Carlos Dunlap for DUI. Let's see if Meyer finds a way to let this kid play. undefined -
QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 12:07 PM) *yawns* I like watching both Coleman and Couture fight but them fighting each other is just dumb. Both fighters should basically be used at gatekeepers at this point if they want to continue fighting.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 05:09 PM) If I am in Notre Dame's inner circle and we get rejected by Urban and Stoops, I call The Old Ball Coach. He left Florida because fans werent satisfied with 10-2 seasons. Plus Spurrier isnt the recruiter ND needs. Notre Dame should throw the bank at Butch Davis. He built the most talented team in NCAA history in the 2001 Miami team from probation in a handful of years. And now he's made UNC into a respectable football school. There might not be a better eye than his when it comes to scouting talent. -
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 07:57 PM) If the Bucs can get Suh, Benn, and a FS like a Nate Allen from USF, they'll be in business. In the mean time, the Bears have no picks to get younger/better and they don't spend money on other teams' FA's to get younger/better. We're about to turn into the Bucs. I'd love to get Suh or another DT like McCoy or Cody. The Bucs never could get over not having 1st and 2nd round picks when they acquired Gruden. Not having those picks helped the Bucs get the proper depth to compete in the NFL. Add that with players who got old really fast and you've got a team who has lost 14 of 15 games dating back to last year.

QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 09:37 PM) Holy crap, what a comeback versus Marquette. We were down 17 points and looked like complete s***, but we still pulled it out. I don't know why I'm excited though, we're going to get raped by Ohio State. It'll be a tough game for FSU but I dont think it'll be a blowout. It's not like the Big 10 is playing as good as everyone thought they would. I'm starting to think the ACC has a decent shot at winning the challenge again this year. -
QUOTE (T R U @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 10:29 PM) Not many, but that doesn't make them more of an athlete.. I don't particularly consider being able to run for long distances being "athletic" Most people use broad terms of athlete and sport when talking about stuff like this.. I hate that, gymnastics and swimming aren't sports to me.. I don't consider them athletes.. same for running etc. ESPN pisses me off so much when they say Tiger Woods is the best athlete in the world.. but like I said, there are broad definitions for it.. I am on the other side.. So someone like Tiger Woods or Phelps isnt an athlete but someone like David Wells is? Are professional field goal kickers/punters athletes in your opinion?

A top 3 pick and two picks in the 33-40 range makes me one happy Buc fan!!
