Meyer leaving Florida wont be because of the amount of money in a contract. Spurrier is/was basically the Florida football program and he still left because the fans expectations become so high that unless you win titles the fans arent happy. With Meyer losing Tebow, his defense and assistant coaches, a couple of 9-3 seasons or seasons without SEC titles will get the fans b****ing and moaning. Plus its no secret that he and his wife love the midwest. He's not leaving this offseason but I wouldnt be surprised if he leaves after 2 years. Even Florida fans dont expect Meyer to stay longer than his current contract.

Nice 15 point win over South Carolina today to win the Charleston tournament. Helped that South Carolina lost a key guy to injury early when down by 9. This team is still young but has some talent to compete and maybe be a bubble team when it comes to March. But we turned it over way too many times today and shot only 17-29 from the FT line. We arent good enough to play like this every night and think we're going to be a bubble team. But 5-0 is 5-0 so I'm happy.

Mayweather doesnt fight guys who are capable of beating him. Hope it happens but I'm not holding my breath.

I had it 30-27 Forrest. The second round was close because of the cut but other than that one elbow, Ortiz really didnt land much. It appeared to me that Ortiz was starting to gas in the 2nd round and had nothing left in the 3rd. I cant stand Ortiz and that injury crap he was pulling was lame. It looks like the fans dont care about him anymore and that was bothering him bigtime.

So glad that Kos won tonight. Always thought Johnson was way over hyped since he's beaten basically a B-level of fighters. Plus the guy acts like he's better than he really is.

I hate the idea of "interim" titles(only purpose is to make 5 round fights) but is Velasquez worthy for an interim title shot though? I'd like to see a Mir vs Velasquez and Carwin vs Dos Santos and the winners fight each other to be named the interim champ.

I guess I'll join in on the fun about getting overly exciting about beating a crap team(North Carolina Central) by 30 points last night. Still think this Miami team will be too young and too inconsistent to be a middle of the pack ACC team but I hope we can make things interesting. Guess I wont know what this team really has until the Minnesota game.

For a team thats 1-8, this is a heartbreaking loss for Tampa. The refs totally f***ed the Bucs over at the end of the first half, giving the Dolphins 10 points, but to battle back and to take the lead in the final minute is very encouraging. Freeman is looking good so far in his first 2 games. Too bad the defense is crap.

Refs are doing everything possible to give the Dolphins a chance to win this game.

Wow, what a s***ty event last night. Good thing Pacman-Cotto was entertaining. Vera might've got jobbed but does it really matter? ESPN the Magazine is a lot better than SI imo. Just the tidbits on the bottom of the page is worth the price for me.

I'm not really liking any of these uniforms the more I look at them. I guess the OSU one is nicest because someone has to have the nicest looking uniform.
