Excatly. I think he would have agreed to a ring ceremony at the Cell in front of all the fans. I think he was treated like dirt throughout the whole thing.

I was dissapointed when Frank couldn't be at the ring ceremony, and when they delievered the ring to him. They definitly should've waited until Oakland came to the Cell to give him his ring. I don't think he'd b**** about it. IMO, his problems were with the media and teammates

Well what about ballparks that the teams are using under lease, like the Marlins or using from another team, like the Twins who have to give their money from parking and concessions to the Vikings?

I agree, but if you put a new team w/ an owner who is more open to the fans, then you might get more interest. I have no interest in hockey, b/c it's never on TV.

The Japanese players should be eligible. They have to adjust to langauge barriers, rules differences, culture differences, a longer season (as Ozzie used as his rationale giving Iguchi extra rest), and other things that can make the season more mentally and physically draining than most others.

Yes. I was reading the Cubs site and it said Murton and Cedeno used their eligilbity last year, b/c they had too much time on MLB roster b/t May 15 and Sept. 1. I don't think Jenks used his eligibility. We called him up in August, right?

Zito will be gone this winter, b/c knowing Beane and the Moneyball, they can't afford him. Not to mention, Oakland has a rotation 6-deep w/o him.

The NHL should consider a second franchise in Chicago. Maybe that'll get some interest in hockey in the nation's 3rd-largest market

Interesting points in both. I didn't realize the state of Florida had such a surplus. That's just bad government or there is some politics in there. As for the Twins, they should be able to get a stadium. The Gophers are asking for one on campus, and are a lock to get it, and Wilf is putting up a $billion of his own money for a new stadium.
