  1. Yeah. In 2003, he tried to charge the mound against Mark Prior. He was restrained, but I don't think he was charging all-out.
  2. A Cubs-Sox World Series and Chicago would cease to exist
  3. Why the hell did Lee do this? If Aramis was locked, I could understand, but that's bull. Ramirez can opt out of his contract this winter and hit the market. And he could easily command a 5-year 75M deal, since he's put up better numbers than Adrian Beltre and Beltre has a 5-year 65M deal.
  4. Maybe the WBC has something to do with this
  5. Plenty. The Tribe could've stumbled out of the gate and not recovered
  6. Now the Tribe don't look so dumb trading him away
  7. At least he's not like Barry "I don't do things for white people" Bonds
  8. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/new...t=.jsp&c_id=chc
  9. Clemens is still a better person than Bonds. Bonds is a huge racist.
  10. He's not a nice person, and it's clear he took the juice
  11. Banning them is stupid. If someone really wanted to make a fashion statement on the court, they would wear a tutu or a toga.
  12. I read it in RedEye. And I read that the next day, they're giving out replica trophys
  13. Yeah, but's a 4 year deal, not 5 like Konerko, and it extends his contract to 2010
  14. I don't believe it. No way would Milwaukee trade w/in the division, let alone down I-94 with the Cubs. I haven't seen any of that crap on the Cubs site, so I know it's all a lie
  15. All the players who wear them say it's not to make a fashion statement, but rather, to keep the muscle's warm, keep them lose, get some blood moving in the legs, etc.
  16. Personally, I think players ought to find a way to sabatoge the whole plan
  17. LeBron only wore his temporarily, to get some compression in his knee, b/c it was a bit sore.
  18. That's such bulls***. Players seem to wear them for better compresion. Also, in a lot of areans, hockey rinks are underneath the court, so, it can be cold. Having such things are useful.
  19. The Kerry Wood of the American League, as Jay Mariotti put it about Jaret Wright
  20. He's a prick. When Ron Kittle asked him to sign a few jerseys for him, Bonds is like, "I don't do things for white people."
  21. I also heard Bill Wirtz is sponsoring a class on stinginess 101
  22. I agree, getting rid of Millwood was a mistake, but still, I think they can do good this year. These young players who got them this far can only do better, and plus they're all locked up. Shapiro's plan worked to perfection. He said they wouldn't compete for the playoffs until 2005, and he was right
