Without googling. How many killed in Afghanistan since BO took office?

#kindalame former Navy SEALs don't have guts to admit they're running a GOP, anti-Obama campaign; nyti.ms/N2nYYj 16 Aug That was Eric Boehlert of Media Matters. Yeah, who is more fearless than a lefty blogger.

QUOTE (mr_genius @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 06:57 PM) Top Democrat intellectual at it again http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/biden-...ury_650017.html It is so beyond funny anymore. It is actually really sad and pathetic that this clown holds such a position in our government.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 11:35 AM) Overt voter discrimination in Ohio http://mobile.nytimes.com/2012/08/15/opini...ion-in-ohio.xml It is truly amazing that this country was able to elect anyone to office prior to the early/absentee/extended voting bulls***. How did we ever manage?

http://dailycaller.com/2012/08/14/whistle-...-taxpayer-dime/ Nothing to see here, move along. Just Illinois/Chicago style politics as usual.

That campaign is classless. But I would expect nothing less. The most thin-skinned President ever. And can someone link to Mitt Romney saying he will allow the banks to re-write regulations in the first 100 days, I missed this one and would like to read about it.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Aug 14, 2012 -> 11:57 AM) I was relying on the Fox News video, which was shot from a different angle. I wouldn't describe one woman tumbling onto the stage as "rushing" the stage. You don't just tumble onto a stage 3 or 4 feet off the floor. Tumble off, yes.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Aug 14, 2012 -> 11:28 AM) Liberal favorite Elizabeth Warren was set to give a speech before a group of volunteers in Brockton, Mass., on Wednesday night, when she was interrupted by an apparent Tea Party supporter who had some less than kind words for the Senate candidate. So, no confirmation, let's just go with it since he made a scene. Good reporting there. And seriously, is Warren really a 'favorite'? No, but she is 16/4000ths Indian.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Aug 14, 2012 -> 08:18 AM) Republicans complaining about Democrats interrupting townhall meetings is hilarious. Not the same but ok if it makes you feel better. Did they interrupt the smartest President ever?
-
QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Aug 13, 2012 -> 10:24 PM) USA Today calls the crowd at that event 'spirited'. Imagine if a tea party member had tried to rush the stage when Biden was speaking. I bet there would be more words than 'spirited' to describe them. The intolerance of the supposed tolerant. Tearing up campaign signs, very mature.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) Anyway, you're 1/2 right. The very rich are getting richer and snubbing their noses more than ever at the middle class and the poor. And frankly, we're not likely to take significant steps to stop it no matter who is elected. We're told that anything you say is a problem is "wealth redistribution!", unfair, "hand me downs from the word that it should be beneath a regular person to use". What is to be done? Well, the best answer I can give is that we can keep trying to bandage it for n ow. Make sure people get health care (check), stop cutting government jobs (which we've cut nearly a million in the past couple years). GET OFF OIL. Basically, unless Europe falls apart, whoever the next president is will likely see 4 years of pretty strong economic growth just because we're climbing out of the very deep hole left by the bursting of the housing bubble. But we have a choice...does all that growth go to the "Very rich getting very richer" or does it get spread around evenly? Very interested in seeing an economic recovery in conjunction with getting off oil. And the pensions from these gov't jobs are bankrupting the states.

I think Cutter saying she knew nothing of the woman's illness was laughable, after it was revealed she was on a conference call with the husband. Between her and Romney's spokeswoman, I don't know who is the bigger boob.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Aug 7, 2012 -> 07:59 PM) Did these deficits appear out of thin air on January 21, 2009? President Obama signed the Deficit Expansion and Intentionally Wasteful Spending Act into law or something and I missed it? No, the trillion dollar ones occurred after BO was enshrined. I believe the lame one said we would be somewhere in the area of a couple hundred billion by now. I will cut the deficit in half.....blah blah blah.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Aug 7, 2012 -> 07:03 PM) Europe keeps trying austerity and the constant contracting of those countries' GDP prolongs their recession to the point where they threaten to implode, or drag us back into a full-blown recession with them. Some, here, want to effectively contract our GDP as well, but we haven't done that (aside from massive layoffs of state employees) and while the economy is still s***ty at least it's actually growing. I mean, it's almost like there is an actual, recent, real-world example of a certain idea being bad... the irony to me is that generally the same people are mad that we are "going to end up like Europe." Well, yeah, but not for the reasons you think Unlike Europe, our public pension system is rock solid. And yet with three years of trillion plus deficits you would think the Keynesian beast would be unleashed. But hell, at least we have 1.5% growth. We need more gov't employees we cannot afford. But it's not the spending, it is the lack thereof.

Is Harry Reid senile or is he that big an asshole? Romney should come out tomorrow and tell him to put up or preferably, stfu. He really is a vile human being.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 07:18 PM) Bulls***, Rmoney (or whoever has an ® behind their name) would be defined negatively and the Obama campaign is in control of the narrative no matter what because the media is so f***ing in the tank for RockStarObama it does't matter. Oh... nevermind, they are just reporting "news". GMAFB. Like the WAPO parroting a Huffpo hit from some investor who told Harry Reid that Romney hasn't paid taxes in 10 years. That is real news.

Kudos to the IOC for recognizing the 1972 Israeli athletes at the Opening ceremonies, and to NBC for editing out Bob Costas' 12 seconds of silence down to 4 for the prime time broadcast and totally removing the moment of silence from the re-broadcast later that night. But the IOC finds time to put up a barrier between some Israeli athletes training next to Muslims. That's what the Olympics are all about. Don't recognize the innocent athletes assassinated by terrorists, but kowtow to the f***ing Muslims who cannot practice next to Israelis. IOC is a close second to the UN for relevancy.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 10:50 AM) Vigilante! That was great. Did you hear the one loser say, i thought he would stop when i was on the ground. Lol! Your lucky to be alive scumbag. Two more of society's poor souls going away. Instead of the hip, he should have aimed a little more to the left so we would have been guaranteed this asshole couldn't procreate.
