  1. I knew Josh was as gone but trading Getz really surprised me.
  2. Season just ended today and already I miss the White Sox.
  3. As much as I prefer the Tigers to win the division over the Twins. I want our Sox to end the season on a positive note.
  4. The Tigers might have hurt there chances by losing at home. I would prefer to see the Tigers win the division instead of the Twins but I'm not pulling against the Sox to help make it happen.
  5. It didn't mean anything except for looking ahead to next season. Looks to me like Bobby Jenks won't be the closer next year. Always nice to win.
  6. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Sep 25, 2009 -> 09:37 PM) This game may very well have featured both the ace of our 2010 staff as well as our new closer. When I saw that Bobby wasn't the closer that made me think that Thornton was going to be the closer in 2010.
  7. The way Peavy pitched has me looking forward to 2010 since this season is the same as over.
  8. Dye's slump is probaby the #1 reason we fell apart in the second half.
  9. Considering it is the first Major League game Peavy pitched in a few months I think he is doing well.
  10. Well we screwed up another one we should have won.
  11. I just tuned into WGN America in San Antonio, got the game in but not Hawk and Stone. Must be trouble along the lines some where.
  12. I didn't see much of the game, I was hoping for a sweep although it is hard to do against Boston.
  13. I hope Ozzie puts in Flowers catching perhaps in the 9th or so.
  14. So glad were finally giving a team a good beating for a change. :gosoxretro:
  15. I know we played the Cubs but it was a very nice win.
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 06:09 PM) We once had Frank Francisco? Yes, in our minor league system. He was drafted by Boston I think. He never played with us, I don't think.
  17. This game was classic. Glad we don't have anymore games to play in that place. I went crazy when Paulie hit his homer.
