I really think Manny chose his words wrong in the press conference. I really doubt jay and Alonso would tell Manny don't come here go to SD. I think they might have said its a nice city or something to that extent. I really don't think they would be that stupid to cut down Chicago. So people need to chill. Its done with. True, and it was talked about. Looks like it ended in nothing. But you can articulate all you want if the guy with beans doesn't want to loosen up. That's been the thing I hate most about the sox. Scouting and development has sucked for a long time. And drafting has too. JR never has wanted to spend on draft picks. I think the sox overall problem has been ownership group. I'm not defending Hahn but its hard to convince a guy stubborn as a mule....
