Best Films of 2005
I really don't prefer watching two men hopelessly attempt to conceive. As for the lesbian comments, male or female, you have to agree that a woman's body > a man's body in the beauty and art department. Likewise, women are more emotional and delicate than men. two women having sex is like petals from a flower; two men having sex is like a cactus. Dudes have sex because they want to screw. let's not be shocked that there's a difference. That being said, I don't think either is ok. I don't plan on seeing this movie because I've heard the love scenes are graphic. If they went for a more subtle approach and alluded to their sexual relationship I might have seen it. It'd be like Billy Graham preaching a sermon in the middle of Chronicles of Narnia. give me metaphors and subtlety, not in your face dude sweat action. It's a shame really.

Best Films of 2005
^^^ It's the perfect choice. Propaganda piece with big names. What we need now is a movie about abortion and the woman's right to choose... It's kinda funny that the people fighting for the right to have personal responsibility and rights, defend people who in general have zero regard for their personal responsibility.

Say one thing about the poster before you
I haven't argued with rangercal before...so that means he's smart enough to agree with what I post or even smarter for just ignoring my posts

Are you biased?

Munich was the best movie of 2005. It was deeply moving and action packed. 2 1/2 hours that felt like 1. I can't imagine that Brokeback mountain could even come close. I have zero desire to see one dude fail to impregnate another dude.
-
Are you biased?
It's no big shock that a white person that spends 99% of his week with only white people will some how prefer white people over black. A round of applause to Harvard University for discovering this :headshake ... you associate with what you know the best

You're HIRED!
Dan Patrick was reporting this and made fun of Childress because he said "I coached in 4 consecutive NFC championships and a superbowl last year. I watched the Rose Bowl last night, and I coached in 3 of them". Dan said it was bizarre that he said he watched the Rose bowl, as if that's a qualification. It's not a qualification, Dan, it's a segway to say "been there, done that". DP is such a moron. FlasoxxJim, add him to the list of morons.

You know what I really fucking hate?
what a thread... I'm going back to pretend I'm a Christian now. :headshake
-
You know what I hate?
An adolescent female is not going to learn to be as nurturing as if there is no mother present. General consensus is that the BEST situation for a child to be raised is in a loving and nurturing heterosexual male/female relationship. That being said, I think a child should have parents over NOT having parents. and also good homosexual parents over BAD heterosexual parents. that's my heirarchy.
-
You know what I really fucking hate?
so as long as I don't name names, I can say.... I hate homosexuals and their abhorrant anal sex. If you want a quick ticket to hell, your best bet is to suck down on some dudes dong and write a children's book called "you're different and that's super". If I'm wrong, please let me know. I'm trying to find the line.
-
You know what I hate?
I think there's more than one option. It doesn't have to be either or. People join death cults because they're looking for somewhere to fit in. People end up in Psycho wards because their chemicals are messed up. I agree. We all need to be respected. Black, White, Republican, Democrat, Homosexual (there's no such thing as being gay unless you've got a smile on your face), Straight, Married, Unmarried, Christian, or Agnostic. that's not the case in almost all of those examples. No one respects each other in this world. That's the bottom line. There's tolerance, but not respect.
-
You know what I hate?
definitely wasn't "just to start crap" but invite discussion. Nothing I said was inflamatory like others had posted. I do understand that my post is perceived as looking for trouble, but the difference seems to be that in this thread actual productive debate has occured. I think a double cheeseburger tastes different than the single cheeseburger for some reason. I don't know why.

You know what I hate?
I hate the sweeping acceptance of the gay lifestyle. Science proves the existence of genetic mutations that may enhance individual tendencies toward homosexual behavior, but no explaination is giving on WHY those mutations happen. So it can be choice OR genes. I'll sit back and see how this one pans out. Alls fair in the Filibuster, right? (me thinks not)
