so wow, I didn't get the experience the duel to the death today, but aside from Anthraxfan, everyone did a great job not freakin' out. I knew someone got banned today...I could feel the disturbance in the force. how do you get banned in the unbannable forum??? haha.
-
^^^ yeah, I get the lag too. I'm trying to figure out how to stop the "Wonder" Vids from playing, cos those suck resources like crazy. awesome game though

QUOTE(mreye @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 12:43 PM) Whew. I thought I was the only one. seriously...now I'm not even reading. It's like watching the two south park handicap kids duel to the death..

My brain has taken such huge steps backward in the last 4+ pages... what the crap is even going on???

QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 09:29 AM) Yeah it will, Religion is the main cause of the majority of the wars through-out history. I'm confident that people would find a reason... by your logic: in the beginning man felt meaningless. Man creates religion and "god" to bring meaning to his life. Man spends centuries at war. In hindsight man blames religion on those wars. In the end, what was at the core of man, was not religion, but war and conflict. Man=War, not religion=war.

where does one find a statistic like that???
-
we've touched on this before, but people make their living trying to disprove things all the time. interesting enough of a point, but culturally and logistically there was an emphasis on word of mouth accuracy and the use of scribes 2000 years ago that doesn't exist today.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 08:57 AM) Wow, can we all agree that this guy should NEVER see the light of day on the outside ever again? Kill him or throw away the key. where's Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey when you need him??!?!
-
no we haven't, that was the original point of this thread. Church populations are down because people are looking to other things to bring "meaning"... side note: when people realize that thost alternatives will find them nothing, I think it's really important for churches to equip themselves and ready themselves to meet those people where they're at. I don't believe we know how to do that yet.

this falls under the "God hardened Pharoh's heart" category... as for abandoning all studies is not what I suggested; there's a huge difference between not continuing to understand God's word and a PR campaign to get Judas out of the Dog House...

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 07:09 AM) Are we talking the funny British Version, or the not so funny American Version?
-
I would suspect that a lot of posters here could help in this cause... tasteless joke alert...don't scroll down unless you're prepared... I warned you... if it weren't so difficult to impregnate their palm.

Pat Robertson Takes $50 Million Hit
sox4lifeinPA replied to LowerCaseRepublican's topic in The Filibuster
Someone needs to make a picture of Robertson with a so-called "Assbag" on his head... I'd laugh a lot I've been to his 700 club (CBN I think) studios... when I was younger. I'm calling my parents tomorrow to make sure they're not supporting this weiner toucher anymore. (sad, I know). -
a very, very patient man.

I just re-read the story about the Catholic Church needing to stop worrying about how Judas is remembered 2000 years after the fact and how they need to spend that money instead on feeding starving people.... :headshake 1 Corinthians, by the way.

it makes sense like this: (for the visually impaired) the script in his signature reads, I'm guessing, my computer's information, or anyone's computer who is looking at his sig, such as the web browser, ip address, and internet service provider (isp), and then posts them in that graphic. I was expressing concern as to whether that information is seen by anyone else. glad I could help.
