There's no catch-all in trade winds, but another right handed outfielder- BJ Upton- isn't in the lineup tonight. And: SPTimesRays Marc Topkin Upton had Sunday off so it's definitely not a "day of rest."

It's still July, and the Central division is terrible like sin. I'll also settle for the Sox placing above Minnesota if they choose not to make they playoffs.

Any advice that I can use to make the most of my forthcoming Miller Park experience? I'm heading up there 9/10 for a Phillies game and would like to get the most out of the town. I've seen the city before, but that was pre-2000 (Summerfest and their esteemed Zoo). I'm told the cheese and bratwursts are not to be missed, and also that the women are ugly.

I like percentages. Tigers- 40% Twins- 35& Indians- 20% Carolina Panthers- 4% Royals- .9% White Sox- negative infinity I actually hate percentages, and all math, in fact- but giving a s***ty team that has for the most part kept pace in a s***ty division a 5% chance of winning is nothing else but contrived, and it's a pretty tired thing to do. I'm disappointed the team is where it is as much as anyone, but until the Twins finally leapfrog everyone, I'm not too worried, cause they all suck. If it isn't the Twins, whoever it is will stumble like a blacked out drunk into the playoffs. For the record I think the Twins or Tigers win it.

My family used to go to Seaside Heights often when I was young. Something I remember from those trips is to watch your speed while driving through Pennsylvania. It's like the Carol Stream of states when it comes to speed traps.

I don't know why, but I feel so alive during this kind of weather. It's weird.
