  1. QUOTE(juddling @ Sep 12, 2006 -> 06:13 PM) She still looked really good bent over her desk in the last Nip/Tuck. i was going to post something about that, speaking of which its on tonight at 9.
  2. Lets Go Mark! Please no butcher of Bridgeport in CF, and no Prancer in LF.
  3. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 12, 2006 -> 04:40 PM) Let me put it this way...If we were to be coming off back to back world series championships...I would hate to see the White Sox risk starting off a season with the combination of Fields and Sweeney in LF, regardless of how they perform in winterball. If we don't win this season though...then we're no longer looking to 3-peat. At which point, I become more willing to see what our young guys actually can give us, and I also become more willing to take risks in other places, i.e. dealing 2 starters and sticking Haeger into the rotation alongside McCarthy. i'm coming with the same logic if we make it to the WS and win it, then we deal for rollins or sign lugo, and then put sweeney/fields in the 9 hole anderson up to the 8, i think thats a pretty good turn over at the bottom of the batting order, its athletic/fast. Regardless of if we win it or not this coming offseason Garcia Pods Uribe all need to go and if Jose goes on another amazing run and we still fall short i'm all for trading him provided we get the right deal in return.
  4. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 12, 2006 -> 04:26 PM) Im going to pull a Flash here. Our system needs some help. Big time. If LA is willing to give a huge package(Liriano-esc) then you pull the trigger. You get a filler for Crede in Figgins, and also get some reinforcements for the future. However, like I said earlier, this is nothing more than a writer coming up with an idea just like all of us do, and seeing what happens.... As much as i would love to pull of a Liriano Heist, i doubt that will happen with the LAA, they're incredibly high on their prospects and tend to know what they have except with turnbow and jenks . But honestly i would be very opposed to trading Crede, we waited this long for him to come around and now that he has we should lock him up long term bad back and all. As for our leadoff hitter/LF next year why not let it emerge from our own system? Fields/Sweeney, both are going to winter ball, and KW has said Fields will be playing LF this winter. I think ST competion of Fields/Sweeney for LF and Leadoff would be great, Fields needs to cut down on his SO (136SO/54BB), but he could be an offensive weapon 28SB/5CS, 19 HR, 4 3B, 32 2B, .305 Avg, What does everyone think?

  7. I hope its back, and i hope its not too late. Jose looks like the Jose of last season, and Garland is throwing bowling balls up there, Vazquez is simply filthy and between MB and Garica you have a chance they will keep you in the game.
  8. nice work Jose Bobby hook isn't 100%, but i think it will be in time, get healthy, glad to see us win a game where we only scored 3 runs
  9. QUOTE(daa84 @ Sep 11, 2006 -> 11:13 PM) honestly....with garland also climbign down toward 4 and vazquez pitching like he has the last month, if we make the playoffs, we have a legit shot at makin some noise...but f*** that we gotta make it first...and concentrate on beating detroits brains in when we play em Agreed, Vazquez JG Jose is a very strong 3 esp the way they have been pitching lately.
