  1. I am pretty sure the MLB decides where the system will be implemented.
  2. Baseball is a 162 game season for a reason, what that reason is I don't know. But its part of the game. If you can't handle 162 games ask for a day off, don't use speed. And many of you are greatly, greatly undervaluing to use of it. You take spped before your workouts to give you that extra kick. It helps you work out faster and harder, thus making your workout better, thus gaining more strength and power. It also helps build your fast twitch muscles (sp?) which is what a player uses to break on the ball, get out of the box, steal a base, etc. There is a reason they are illieagal.
  3. great game. and off to kane county to see st pats win a state championship tonight. GO SHAMROCKS!
  4. HGH, as in its name, is a growth hormone. It grows muscel cells, bone cells, ligaments cells, etc. The problem is it also grows organs in your body like the liver, heart, etc. Thus it leads to heart failure and the such.
  5. QUOTE(AbeFroman @ Jun 9, 2006 -> 12:11 PM) Actaully, I am surprised at the date: 1990. Thats further back than I thought all this really went. Makes you wonder how this type of thing could be going on from 1990 on and the league didn't do anything about it until 2005 This stuff has been going on forever. There are claims, by former players, that even the great Willy Mays was a speed user. The player saw the bottle in Mays's locker. Here is a article in the NY Times that touches on it for a paragraph: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html...th&pagewanted=1
  6. Go Frank Go.
  7. i'll give you he is not as good as his contract dictates. but wasn't what i was argueing.
  8. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) This crap is getting old... Jon pitches one of his best games all year... the defense s***s the bed. None of those balls were even hit freaken remotely hard except for the HR and even that wasn't a bad pitch... If we have a semi competant CF we don't even give up one run that inning... good thing to know i have a couple people that agree with me.
  9. garland has only thrown about 2-3 bad pitches. not his fault. keep i-rod off 2nd. hold dye at 3rd. don't throw the ball home and let the runner get to 2nd. simple s*** that we aren't getting done right now.
  10. i don't think many people thought the royals would be contenders but alot closer to .500 then they are right now.
  11. i have to agree with the people that say cora is insane sending dye there. he wasn't even close to being in the tv shot when that ball got there. didn't see the play last night so cannot comment on that. but sending jd was bad.
  12. To Hawk and DJ, There is no reason for Thome to dog it bacuase he plays for about 10 minutes a game. Love, Me
  13. jon needs to keep the ks comming and stop giving up the long fly outs.
  14. roughly 10 ft. took him a full second maybe a second and a half to get on my tv screen after the ball made it to the plate.
  15. that pitch to gooch was off the plate by a lot.
  16. he will be sent down, imo. but will be back up by the break or when we come back from it.
