then why not put in a lower number that you think the arbitrators will agree to?? say the sox put in 4 mil. why would crede put in anything more that 6, considering you don't exactly know what the sox are offering. i mean you have to have a pretty damn good idea of what your players true market value is to put the number in to the arbitrators. i mean to be a good buisnessman you have to seperate yourself from your emotions to your client/asset.

well i think they will still work on the multi-year deal. this signing was made just to avoid arbitration, which begs another question.... with amarus rameriz (sp?) getting the amount of money he did, A-Rod getting whats he getting, why wouldn't Crede be presumed to get more in arbitration? so why would boras and crede agree to this deal if they are looking to get the most money? or is there an deal ready to take place that required Crede to sign this deal then get a monster extension when the deal is made? Or does Crede really want to stay here? I hope its the last one.

i would imagine that kenny would at least tell coop what the sox plans are, or keep him abreast. not nec ask if we should do this or that, but rather coop we are thinking of doing this so learn about the guy. or we are looking to trade 2 of your starters, may not happen but be prepared. something along those lines.
