I am real glad this worked out, and I think it is the good buisness decision for the White Sox to boot. I mean signing Mark Buehrle is a PR move. It also helps the Sox be a better team, IMO. I think the ownership has seen what a WS winner and contending team can do to this fanbase and city. Going into a straight rebuilding mode would have crushed this team for a few years, attendence and bottom line wise. But a rebuilding mode where we remain competitive for at least the Wild Card every year, will work both ways. I wonder if they offer Garland the same deal they gave MB?

now when rosters expand to 40 man and you are called up do you use an option?

I am a Vaz fan and have been since last year. Just for the record. I would not mind a rotation of Buerhle/Garland, Vazquez, Danks, Floyd, take your pick for next year. Now if both MB and JG were in there, I would be a very happy man.

just hearing about those three and the fact we have all three under contract for next year, if KW and JR do the right thing here, we have a pretty good shot for next year. pick up some extra pieces here and there and we will be good. our offense/bullpen can't suck as bad as we have this year.

i maybe starting to buy the buerhle playing us all as fools arguement. maybe its just because i don't want to give up hope on the sox and would rather give up hope on a player that won't be with the sox in about 74 hrs.

after some bad news i got earlier this week, two friends passed away (different occurances) this finally brought a smile to my face. congrats big hurt, you deserve it and everything that will come with it as in a HOF plaque.
