  1. Looks rather uncomfortable there, temperature wise. And we're down here, wishing it wasn't hitting 86 already.
  2. Dude was 300 lbs, and lets be honest, like it was already mentioned, there isn't exactly full speed, constant motion in baseball. If we were talking about the wear and tear of basketball or football, then sure.
  3. Even dumber, that we see it as a good idea to play both catchers in so many games. I'll gladly admit I was off my rocker, if this strategy somehow propels us to a World Series, but....
  4. Fielder played 157 or more games, 8 seasons in a row. It is silly to me, the 'keep them fresh' garbage.
  5. Yeah, there is NO WAY anyone could play 162 games in a season, and deal with any normal pain/strains, etc. They'd have to be a top 1% physical specimen, for sure...
  6. Amazing, how soft we are these days, with guys who are in 10x better shape than they were 30-40 years ago.
  7. What a garbage lineup, all around.
  8. Gracious, Fish man 0-4 with 4 K's.
  9. This is a different Liam today.
  10. I think the point is....the discussion is only warranted, because we HAVE to send one of them down. Neither of them are being written off completely, now. But, one provides more value than the other, to this point. A guy's "stayability" shouldn't be tied to JUST which side he swings from.
  11. Graveman falling victim to the infamous White Sox 8th inning fun.
  12. Pollock out here uppercutting the hell out of the ball.
  13. Yep, exactly. We're talking a guy who has lived on the IL, but has a lot more value over 'being left handed'. We already have Gavin Sheets on the roster, 100%, with the exception of which side of the plate he swings from.
  14. Definitely an argument to be made, I still feel like Burger has WAY more value though. Not like we're hitting from EITHER side very well, so Burger's position flexibility over Gavin's, probably would win out to me. Leury needs to be the middle infield utility guy, let Jake have 3rd and emergency others.
  15. What an outing, Mr. Cease. 7 fantastic innings, against a pretty good hitting team. Love the way Cease is evolving as a TOR guy.
  16. Cease, gracious man....out here ace'ing the Fish man!
  17. Only 2 guys left, under the Mendoza line, at least in the current lineup.
  18. Grandal still the guy who wants to take walks, and not the guy who drives runs in.
  19. 6th inning is still Cease's biggest undoing, even this year so far. I'm hoping he gets past it, to get farther into games, and turn that corner.
  20. I mean, lets not forget we're still sitting at a whopping 4 hits today, 3 by Luis. So...it'd be nice to start hitting, still.
  21. Cease is ridiculous, goodness.
  22. Nothing better than appealing a swing/no swing on a pitch that was an easy strike call, regardless.
  23. Eloy would have died on that last hit ball, no doubt there would have been a collision.
