  1. Nobody on this team plays harder when it doesn't matter, than Elvis Andrus.
  2. Someone, preferably NOT an organization long timer, needs to work with Colas this off season, like...a LOT...on things. The leash can't be as long next season, where you're letting a 540 OPS corner outfielder learn as he goes. Give the guy some instruction, things to work on, etc. I desperately want the kid to succeed, but....I just don't know.
  3. And drive in 80 runs with those 40 HRs. Fantastic lineup.
  4. The only reason to watch this team.

If you want to be even more sad about the 2023 pick of the Sox, go look at the 4 guts picked directly after Jacob Gonzalez and how they are doing...DEFINITELY small sample size, but one of these things does not look like the others. Jacob Gonzalez: Bryce Eldridge: Enrique Bradfield: Brock Wilken: Brayden Taylor:
  6. Rick Hahn (Probably) - "Romy is one of those guys who is critical to any success we hope to have in 2024. We had hoped we could just have him do some shoulder exercises and he'd be ok, but after that didn't work for 2+ months, we decided surgery made the most sense."
  7. Of the guys on your 2nd part of the list, that entire roll call can be shitcanned off of any White Sox roster. Of the guys on your 1st part of the list, I've got some bad news....I'm pretty sure we're going to see Clevinger in the rotation next season. Especially at the price tag he gets. Liam I really don't know what they'll do, and we all know Grandal is off to..........somewhere else, anywhere else.
  8. I had no desire to even make any more GameThreads, but when I saw how pathetic this lineup is today, I HAD to. Good thing Luis would "Probably play Friday, if not then, then Saturday" huh Grifol? Clown show.
  9. 44 games left, just need a cool 15-29 the rest of the way, to lock in an amazing 62-100 season for managing guru Pedro Grifol, and the underachieving shlumps.
  10. Good job Grifol
  11. The man pitched that well, and has a chance to take the L. Master class on managing by Mr. Smug.
  12. GrifoLOL Good job there.
  13. .230/4/19 for our 17 million dollar man
  14. The impossible has happened.
  15. Abreu with the rough .234/10/56 line this year, for 19.5 million.
  16. Colas with 3x the HRs of TA, in less than half of the ABs. Things you shouldn't be able to say.
  17. Sir, don't disrespect our cleanup hitter with those words!
  18. Beni has been absolutely bad since being wrongly removed from the leadoff position. Another great Grifol move.
  19. So.... Situation: White Sox Organization, Business as usual.
  20. NYY feels like they've left 127 men on base in this series, they have been Sox-esque with RISP.
  21. Lambert legit just came into the game, faced 4 guys, got no one out, and left.
  22. You say that, as if the young kids won't want to win every game? Running Elvis Andrus, Yasmani Grandal, etc out there, when the season is very clearly over, does nothing to prep the organization for whatever debacle we see in 2024.
  23. So glad Gavin Sheets is on the roster.
