  1. Don't misunderstand it for trolling, I'm not like that. I'm just stating my opinion on what I think could happen.
  2. I have a feeling the Tigers may not be done tonight. That inning has woken them up I think. We were 1 for 20 with RISP in scoring position before that inning, and look what happened. Not to toot my own horn here, but if that's any indication, it could get ugly fast.
  3. I thought that was going out at first. If it had I think that would have done us in, with the way are bats have been. We're 0 for 13 this series with men in scoring position, and have left 19 men on base. That won't get it done no matter who you play.
  4. QUOTE(Whitewashed in @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) With the way you guys were playing you could get swept. If you're gonna look at it one way make sure you don't forget the other. Oh believe me I know that. I don't like it, but I have a feeling it may happen.
  5. That's part of what frustrates me too. With the way you guys were playing before we came in here, we could have gone up at least 3 games had we won the games we had a chance to win.
  6. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:40 PM) Well I disagree and I do not empathize. Tigers are having a good year, your team has good talent, it's on the way up for the most part. Take pride in how far your team has come. I see your point, but it's frustrating to see us throw away games we should have won. We've done that 5 times in the last week. We should be up by a lot more then just half a game right now.
  7. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:38 PM) Our poster from Detroit was right ... tight game all the way. Yeah too bad it went against us... yet again. I'm getting sick of this. It's the same damn thing every game lately.
  8. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:33 PM) leyland is a wise man, but if you're managing that team, doesn't Zumaya have to close ahead of Todd Freakin jones? A lot of Tiger fans would agree with you on that, but Leyland is gonna stick with Jones till he gives him a reason to take him out of that position. He's blown 2 saves yes, but the fact is he's 16 of 18 overall. Doesn't matter how he's got em, the bottom line is he's gotten it done for the most part.
  9. QUOTE(NYSox35 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) Ok, I'll give you credit...that was good analysis. I thought you were just a Tigers homer. Not at all. Sure it's nice to see them win and all, but I'm not afraid to say we stink, and right now we do.
  10. QUOTE(NYSox35 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:17 PM) Let's talk about your 2-9, soon to be 2-10 record against the Elite teams in the AL. Alright let's. Are we 2 and 9 against the AL elite? Yes. Doesn't mean we are a bad team per se, just that certain other teams are a little better right now. Face it we're struggling. We're not doing the little things that we did during the stretch where we won 15 of 16. Until we start doing those little things, it's gonna keep going like this no matter who we play.
  11. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 08:14 PM) Funny how you didn't post how lucky you got on a double crede error. Why should I? I'm not gonna toot my own horn, I'm generally not like that.
  12. That is true also. Still your run is much bigger then ours right now.
  13. You guys got really really lucky on that last hit. Gomez should have had it, and if he did it might still be tied.
  14. QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:44 PM) In a perfect world Dye and Thome's homers would have been 3 run bombs. To be honest I'd almost rather they were 3 run shots. These 1 run losses have hurt lately. At least in a blowout you know it's over early.
  15. He does, in fact he leads the league I do believe with 5 pickoffs this year.
  16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) Boy, where in the world did you get that idea? Shocking. Ha Ha. Very funny,
  17. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) new LF makes a nice play. Just in case anyone wants to know, the new LF is Alexis Gomez.
  18. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 07:01 PM) Hey, a sac fly!! Why can't we do that?? Lately I've been asking the same question for the Tigers too.
  19. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:51 PM) Coming into this game, I thought that was the biggest thing. We kept the Tigers slide going, and ended ours. Tomorrow, the Tigers will come in thinking their slide will still be going. And they'll have to face Jose. True, but we got Verlander going for us. Best guy we got so far. So we may be able to rebound with him hopefully. Gotta stop throwing these games away though, that's the 4th in the last week. Need to do better then this if we want to even think of playoffs at all.
  20. Wilson has done well for us in the catching position this year. Plays like that one are why.
  21. If anyone is wondering, Pudge is out of the game for us, with back trouble. He's day to day.
  22. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 12:54 PM) Not really. I wouldnt want to be in the same lockerroom as gay players either. I do not agree with the choice of homosexuality. Nor do I. I think this statement from Everett sums it up best: Two women can't produce a baby, two men can't produce a baby, so it's not how it's supposed to be.
