  1. I know, but I'd be more relieved then anything really.
  2. No offense, I wouldn't be so happy, as much as relieved. The O's nearly pulled off the impossible there.
  3. Wow the Braves have no pen to speak of. They went into the 9th at home leading the Reds 7-2, a 2 run single, and a pinch hit 3 run homer later, and we're tied going the bottom of the 9th. 18th blown save for the Braves, leads the national league.
  4. QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jul 4, 2006 -> 10:44 PM) happy's 97... Well so it is. Mea Culpa.
  5. Tigers got a 2-0 lead early on. Bottom 2.
  6. Wow I concur with everybody here, really bad list. Where's Major League, or Happy Gilmore?
  7. Well these two games sucked. Last night the umps give us no strike zone (granted the homer was what beat us), and today our hitting went to hell in a handbasket. We didn't deserve this one at all. If you can't score in extras with a man on 2nd and none out, you don't deserve to win. Bottom line.
  8. QUOTE(loltrain @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 11:34 PM) As for the Ben Wallace stuff, I think it's a terrible deal for both teams, obviously losing a hard working great player like Ben is going to hurt the Pistons, but 15 million per year is waaaaaayyyy too much for a guy who is almost useless on offense and looked old and slow in the playoffs this year. I think maybe Flip Saunders had something to do with that though. After that falling out they seemingly had in the game at Orlando late in the season, he just wasn't the same.
  9. Tie game now 2-2 bottom of the 5th coming up.
  10. Shouldn't be 2-1 at all. Robertson could not get a freakin strike call. He threw pitches that were obviously strikes, and they were called balls. Eventually this led to the bases being loaded, and then they got a 2 run single. Thanks a lot ump.
  11. Agreed. Shades of Kenny Lofton there.
  12. I only saw the 9th today, but I am so glad to be done with Pittsburgh. How we took the series I'll never know. We easily could have lost all 3 games.
  13. For the record I came from there as well.
  14. No I mean you're due to lose some just as much as we are.
  15. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 1, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) you're due for a stretch of bad games. Happens to them all. If not now, sometime. I'd hope for now and not september if I was you. True, but so are you really.
  16. We'll rebound. We were due for a game like this.
  17. You wish, 1.5.
  18. eh I don't think Leyland would ever concede a game.
  19. They're throwing stuff on the field. BTW can the Tigers play the Cubs again? I have a mind to kick their butts all over the field now.
  20. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) BTW is Sanchez hurt? According to the Pirates site, he was a late scratch due to back spasms.
  21. True there, still a great play though.
  22. Almost identical to Coco Crisp's last night. Same situation too basically.
  23. And Grandy saves the game.
  24. 6-1 now in the 3rd.
  25. Did anyone see that catch by Coco Crisp just now in the Red Sox/Mets game? Unreal.
