Taxi's from the airports? Airport fees? How does this effect every taxpayer in Illinois? That is what I'm responding to. I don't think people not in Chicago use taxi's on a regular basis. What are the airport fees? If its a revision it was revised AFTER Comiskey Park was built. Any revision would be to cover the costs of McCormick Place and Soldier Field, so don't get that mixed up with the Cell. The Cell does get a small portion for upkeep.Funny how the state's website and the ISFA website say nothing about these other fees or revisions to the charter. They both say the money comes from a 2% city hotel tax, rent from the White Sox, if it applies, and fees for other events, like the Rolling Stones, Springsteen, etc.

No you are wrong. The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority gets its money from a hotel tax which is collected in the City of Chicago only. I just looked it up on the state's website. The only taxpayers who footed the bill for this park are people who have stayed in Chicago hotels. Look it up for yourself.

This was a non-confrontational thread looking solely for votes but suddenly turned into a season ticket holder's diatribe on why walk-ups suck. Well far be it for me to throw some fire in the other direction. That came after a post which said pay more for the LD which you replied it wasn't about money, and a post asking where you would sit considering the lower bowl is sold out. It was unprovoked,uncalled for, and totally immature. There were no posts remotely saying walk ups suck. Re read it from the beginning.
