  1. Its the ultimate low blow, and cheap shot. Its just that you think like one. While everyone here wants every player to do well, reality is not everyone on the Sox is an outstanding major league player.
  2. The Sox usually play well in Yankee Stadium. They took 2 out of 3 last year, and scored a lot of runs. 2000 they killed the Yankees there.
  3. If you liked Clayton, you need rehab. Please go get yourself some help.
  4. you must be a Cub fan.
  5. The Anderson pick up was huge for KC, but if they are still behind the Sox after this roadtrip it may take some wind out of their sails.
  6. I'm not a Konerko fan, but I hope he gets a hit everytime up. Hopefully a homer so he doesn't clog the bases. If he hits .330 the rest of the season and hits 10 homers, I'll tell you I was wrong, but I do believe he sucks.
  7. Brian Cashman has the worst job in the world right now.
  8. 9 against Clemens 10 against Wells. The Yankees rotation is getting a little long in the tooth. The big Stein is probably having a coronary as we speak.
  9. I just tried it to see if I could and it worked fine. Maybe your computer settings are off.
  10. I hope this prediction is more accurate than your first.
  11. You forgot a few, Rowand, Harris, Koch...........................................
  12. Olivo reached on Paulie's f*** up. He would have been out. Tony G. picked up Paulie, it really didn't cost any runs. That was 2 of the worst baserunning decisions we have seen in the last couple of years, and we have seen some bad ones.
  13. Hawk said it looks like Buerhle tomorrow.
  14. It was big of Bart to shut them down in the bottom half. How about a five spot.
  15. I just came on line, I predicted to myself earlier the Sox would score 7 in the 4th inning
  16. I loooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvee watching the Boomer get lit up
  17. Doesn't score from second on a double, and comes home on a tap right to the thirdbaseman, he was out by 60 ft. No harm though, thanks to Tony G.
  18. Konerko sucks
  19. This year the home opener was April 4th. I agree, its a blessing to start the season on the road. Everyone at opening day this year will attest to that. I thought the most ridiculous thing about this years schedule was the one home Yankee series the Sox get, a huge draw , is the last home series of the season, and on a weekday so many kids already in school won't be able to attend. Let alone the Yanks possibly resting their stars for the playoffs.
  20. One thing to keep in mind, when KC and Minn are playing these non contending teams, the non contenders play loose they have nothing on the line. They would love to be able to say they knocked one of these teams out of playoff contention, while Minn. and KC have the pressure of a must win.It happens every year. I just hope teams don't go with line ups filled with Sept. call ups against them. I'm sure the league office would have something to say about that.
  21. That 94 wasn't taken with the same gun they got Koch at 98 with was it?

Until R. Alomar came around, no one on this team could get a bunt down. He's laid down a few beauties. They are getting better at moving runners over, and aren't making as many stupid baserunning mistakes. It seems runners on 3rd with less than 2 outs are scoring more frequentlhy. Just so they don't rely on a homer 100% of the time, they will score a lot of runs. Hopefully, they'll light up the Boomer tonight. If I recall, the Sox have hit him pretty well historically.
  23. The Sox won 2 out of 3 at Yankee Stadium last year. The first game they won 13-2, just like last night, then the won 8-1, and lost on a rain shortened game the following day. They play well there.

Tim Hummel=Chris Snopek. He is not a big loss.
  25. Danny twirled a gem at Yankee Stadium last year.
