QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Jun 20, 2011 -> 11:32 AM) We've been thinking about getting a pool like this: They are around $200 at Target, Wal-mart or Toys R us. I'm just wondering how sturdy they are and if I have to worry about my dog putting a hole in the side of it with her claws when she's in the backyard. I got the inflatable one and they are really cool. We got a 48 inch one. You need to run the filter non-stop especially if you are not in it. After the first year we bought a larger filter and it worked better. Make sure your ground is level. We used it for two years and then my neighbor gave me his pool. We may have been able to use if for a third year.
  2. Well that excitement ended quickly
  3. I said this a couple of weeks back but the Sox pitchers seem to be struggling early in the game and then are settling in. With the off days the six man rotation has existed since Peavy went on the DL Jackson has not walked a batter
  4. they really have no one to blame when the park is empty as this team literally makes me sick to my stomach to watch
  5. keep the ball down and this team has no chance yet they refuse to adjust
  6. wow does this team never cease to make good pitches look like cy young award winners that are virtually unhittable 1 run in 22+ innings how many of these streaks will we see before something is done
  7. Like 1-0 felt like 5-0 the last two days, 2-0 seems insurmountable today.
  8. Hopefully someone walks into one.
  9. He has nothing tonight and has four strikeouts. The definition of effectively wild
  10. You can see it already the Sox are in a hitting funk that will at least last the weekend. They'll score about 5 runs total for a road trip total of 6. Then they will have to find a new excuse as they are not facing he CY Young caliber guys.... another run of corpseball to get us back out of the race
  11. Hey he struck out side. Over/Under on Hudson's pitch count today......
  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 09:07 PM) Please trade EJ he is Javy Vasquez the 2nd! He always gives up early runs. It really is sad that KW made the same mistake twice on soft pitchers that are traded annually
  13. edwin jackson and javier vazquez are the same person
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 08:59 PM) He's hitting 5th because of rios and Dunn killin this team more than AJ. dunn has hit recently and should be moved up to 5th AJ after this series is not a 5th hitter Aj has never been a run producer and is not doing it this year and should not be asked to do so
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 08:56 PM) A lot of guys are killing this team. Aj isn't at te top of that list. he is doing fine but he can not hit 5th he has 19 RBI and don't say it is because he is hitting behind Rios and Dunn here comes the jackson meltdown
  16. pierre and aj are killing this team aj can not hit with runners in scoring position he has 19 RBI his career high in RBI is 77
  17. Well Colon and Garcia are showing what they are all about.
  18. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 10:22 AM) Oh, please. I pointed out the oppo hits because there's a huge % of folks here who think he's the all-or-nothing, pull-happy, strikeout-king type. He isn't. He's a high-average, line drive machine with a great approach. And he's quickly learning that a lot of pitchers would rather deal with the next guy in the lineup and taking his walks. Kid'll have growing pains and plenty of bad days. And that will still be WORLDS better than what we're getting from our LF today. His bad days are pierre's every day pierre's good days are his average days his good days are not avaialable to pierre at thsi time
  19. real easy to realize why nobody comes out to the games this team is really hard to watch.
  20. bad day for beckham great now we need to get back to back singles and hope the run can score really no lillibridge because vizquel is left handed guillen is a f***ing moron
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:14 PM) I'm so glad Rios is on this team. time to move dunn to 5th hopefully the 19 RBI guy can move back down in the order
  22. capps should make easy work here and the boys can be on the charter by 3:00
  23. what is the point of bringing Crain in? does ole oz think he is winning this game, I mean does he think the Sox are actually winning this game currently
  24. Sox record will be 0-4 have been outscored 8-2 and have had 15 hits in 35 innings against one of the worst teams in baseball this year. The average length of a game is 2:15 (that part I guessed )
