White Sox (Humber) v. Yankees (Burnett) 6:05pm

They won that is all I care about. Guillen needed this win. Santos got out of the 8th and was left in there to finish it. No problem. This offense still sucks. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 08:21 PM) Considering Peavy is probably a month away at best, I really think the decision will be easy. somehow I think it will as well and the record of the team will be the leading indicator -

A Rod made Ozzie's job a lot easier. Ok I'll say it. Humber is why Cooper has job security. Where is Greg Walker's Floyd, Thorton and now MAYBE Humber. -

Every game with the Yanks and Red Sox seem to be that way if he guy does not swing it must be a ball. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 08:00 PM) I had to maneuver around about 2 dozen down trees and a destroyed greenhouse, but I'm still here in enough time to taunt fathom for saying how Humber had no shot against the Yankees. Don''t mention Gavin Floyd either -

QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 07:51 PM) This game has "heartbreaker" written all over it. A three run 8th by the Yanks should do the trick hasn't Mo blown his last two saves? -

not sure but he appears to have gotten the offense going. -

I am starting to hate this team as Humber is pitching his ass off and we can not score. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 07:24 PM) They'd never DL Mark for his performance, nor should they. Peavy coming back is more myth than realistic right now anytime soon. They are limiting his innings. All things being equal IF Peavy comes back a breather for Mark around the All-Star break will not kill anyone. Almost need to send Morel and Beckham down for the teams good I could give s*** about their psyche this offense is terrible. -

Going back to the days of Dye, why do the White Sox struggle every time the ball is in the air. Humber is doing his job and doing it well. He keeps his team in the game. It will be interesting to see what unfolds if Peavy comes back. It might be worth it to DL Mark. -
QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 12:03 PM) <!--quoteo(post=2362670:date=Apr 25, 2011 -> 11:13 AM:name=IlliniKrush)-->QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 11:13 AM) <!--quotec-->LOL. There's the bias. Clearly the main point of contact was the head, which looked it looked like Bickell was going for, in the same fashion you say Torres was head hunting. Exact same thing. It was actually almost the same exact hit. Plus, Bickell left his feet. Oops. You can't have it both ways, but I guess you can try. Sorry, I disagree 100% and has nothing to do with bias. We can be talking about these same hits between other teams and I'd feel the same. Almost the exact hit does not = exact hit. The main point of contact was not the head...it was the shoulder. Yes he was trying to drill him and he had his head down, but the brunt of the contact was at the side of his shoulder with incidental contact made to the head on the follow through. Torres was straight to the head. If you can't see it...you're not looking and Bickell left he's feet after initial contact to jump against the boards. Bickell's last stride is six feet prior to the hit, and he is standing straight up when he hits him. In both plays the defender is lowering their head to skate around the net and the forward is going through the player to make the hit. I thought Torres had more of an intent.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 10:25 PM) That's it, you figured it out, they don't respect Ozzie Guillen anymore. I did not say that. All I said was this isn't working. This is what happened last year and 25-5 runs are not all that common that we can rely on that again. Oh and the White Sox were not in it at the end so the slow start hurt them and it is hurting them again. If a real change is made, and none will, you have to bring in a person the players will respect. This team should be able to win games on talent alone and they are not so something needs to change, what that is I do not know and from the sound of it, neither does Guillen.

Crawford was phenomenal and he may be in the Nucks head as much as the Hawks appear to be in Lou's
-
Was David Bolland on the ice for all three goals as well as setting up the penalty shot. Luongo looks lost.
-
He did not get the goal but Hoss made that play!!!!!!!!
-
What the f*** is going on out there?
-
Looks like Vancouver is on the Power Play since Lou came into the game. The Hawks crowd cheering that when he makes the save is annoying as hell by the way.
-
this is not looking good for the hawks.
-
What is Vancouver doing on face offs it looks like Lacrosse.
-
3 guys laying down and campbell does not shot come on
-
Hawks have been dominated the last 10 minutes of this game.
-
Seabrook looks lost out there almost John Scott bad on that last shift

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 07:10 PM) Bolland with a nice solid hockey annihilation of a player there. I think Schneider is hurt. He was favoring the leg earlier in the game.
-
too much standing around and passing. Who coaches the powerplay greg walker that was abysmal. hawks are on their heels now, not looking good check that, I like Bolland
