White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Teahen has looked better at third but maybe in the spring they noticed that he still sucks. Putting the defense behind Buehrle is not important as it once was as now he is throwing batting practice.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:45 PM) That story was bogus Cooper did not deny it was not the case on the SCORE after it happened.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
QUOTE (Knackattack @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:41 PM) Teahen is garbage too... it really speaks to how pathetic this offense has been that we're asking for Mark f***ing Teahen. His has some talent and Colon is a good mat-up for him. When is Guillen going to do something with the players that are doing anything at all (Pierre and Beckham).

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Teahen should be in this game as he would be the most dangerous with Dunn here. God this offense sucks.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Gordon really needs to be sent down for a couple of weeks. That was terrible.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:34 PM) Never thought I'd say this, but thank Lillibridge that Buehrle's contract is up. He's being paid a ton of money to be a mediocre #3 starter. A trip to the NL is what he needs to salvage his career. That is why I think they shut him down for a couple of weeks if Peavy comes back and Humber is pitching well. It is for his benefit

This strike zone is tight obviously hope the Sox make this favor them.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Remember in 2004 when he gave up something like 10 runs in the first..... He really looks to have nothing left. With this offense you can send this one to Copperstown.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:17 PM) That strike three call was BULLs***. If it is consistent then fine. I think umpires can be intimidated by the Yankees

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:05 PM) still no fans showing up for tribe games. amazing. Team performance in April is not going to draw fans especially on weekdays the weather is too unpredictable. Casual fans plan ahead to go and April and early May is too dicy. You rely on walk-ups. They are also playing the Royals who nobody is planning to go see. The ticket sales in the early part of the season I would bet are 95% season ticket sales.

Crow makes me feel good about the Hawks going forward.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
The Yanks seem to pound the bejesus out of Buehrle. I would say the Sox should hit Colon but come on Nova and Penny just had their best starts in their career at least Nova did. This is why they play the game.

Would have been nice to win but the better team clearly won. Cory Crawford almost won that game and if it wasn't for a another horses*** give away, he may have.

bad penalty on Seabrook. keep 1-0 and it is a victory for the period

Stahlberg should not be on that first line and the Hawks seem to be changing lines every 30 seconds.

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 09:30 PM) Oz gets no credit for this win? He managed very very well in a game the offense stunk again. By the way, yes the Yankees bunted in the ninth inning as Oz also woulda done. People think Oz is so different. It called for a bunt so NY bunted. He bunted to get to Tex and A ROD not Omar and Pierre.

Vancouver has to be aggressive and force the action like they did in third period and OT of game six. I still think Lou is hurt. Seabrook is looking like John Scott again.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!
They still need to hit he f'ing ball.

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) Good call. We lose this game and last nights game with Milledge on the roster instead of Lillibridge. I thought Milledge could catch a fly ball it is not really that hard to do.

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
Can we no longer talk about Rowand's Yankee Stadium magic. I just watched the 9th. That was some nice glove work there. He needs to be in there more either at second or left.

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
All right I kicked the dog and left the house. What did Lillibridge do? PS I do not have a dog.
-
White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
Oz looked smart last night and will look dumb tonight. This offense sucks so there is nothing you can do I guess. They need to find a closer and stick with it as it will cost them again tonight and this is on Ozzie. Start with your closer. This move backfires on him all of the time.

White Sox (Floyd) v. Yankees (Nova) 6:05pm
Morel and Beckham need to be sent down. Platoon Lilli and Omar and leave Teahen at third. Bring up Dayan and grab anyone off the street that can play the infield for a month in a pinch.

Humber
His talent looks on par with Floyd and he appears to maybe have a better head on his shoulders. He is doing the job and keeping the Sox in games.
