ABC had an article on their website last night saying it was incorrect and NPR had a story this morning trying to find the source of the incorrect claim. They're still maintaining "objectivity," which means "don't question R's or they'll whine 'liberal bias'!" I don't like Democrats or a lot of the Democrat platform on economics, but I want them to win just to spite the Republicans.

Maybe the EPA will eventually come up with a "per unit energy" rating so that you can compare the efficiencies of different power generation platforms. I'm sure there's room for an environmental group to come up with a "CO2/mile" rating for cars, though it might be expensive to test and develop accurately. Unless its just derived from EPA fuel economy numbers.
