  1. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:42 PM) I didn't say that. I'd like a defense that allows 14 points too. But since we're thinking about committing this quite remarkably good core of offensive skill players to Cutler for the next 4+ years, this is one of many different experiences that leads me to believe that he is just not the guy. And of course, keeping this QB will hamstring our ability to add veterans to the defense in the near term GB dominated TOP because the defense really struggled to get off the field. The offensive stumbled out of the gate, but really got going later on and wasn't really leaving points on the field or having a bunch of three-and-outs.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:41 PM) Pssh, no. Rodgers had one terrible pass but made play after play the entire game. The tipped interception is one of those excuse throws people give Cutler all the time. Rogers WON the Packers the game. No excuse necessary. Rodgers got incredibly lucky on an early snap and then had a ridiculously blown coverage that I'm pretty sure I could have completed. His stats in the game were not very good.
  3. what a catch by patton in SF
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:39 PM) What excuse? He outplayed Rogers. Cutler was not why they lost. The idea that this loss is on Cutler in any way or that McCown would likely have done better is just ridiculous.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:37 PM) There's always an excuse for him. An excuse for who? Conte? The defense who couldn't get off the field for most of the game? Jeffery, who dropped what would have been a crucial 1st down completion deep in GB's territory?
  6. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:36 PM) An average Bears defense and this game would be an easy victory. an average bears defense and they lock up the NFC-N a week or two ago.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:36 PM) You know what? The devil we know is 1-8 against the Packers. What's the harm? Cutler cannot beat this team. Cutler tripped Conte and caused him to let a WR run right past him and be open by 10 yards
  8. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:35 PM) This is a game your QB is supposed to get you. We didn't have a QB that could get us a win like this, at least not on the field Oh I'm sure McCown would have put up 40+ on them!
  9. ok please fire conte, podlesh and tucker right now please
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:28 PM) These 2 posts don't fit together to me? there's no scheme or play that would call for letting a WR run open down the field
  11. come on hester just win it right here
  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:27 PM) If Conte covers his man, there's no way there is a completion and possibly not even an attempt on that play horribly blown coverage
  13. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:26 PM) Conte you son of a b****... apparently thought it was a rule that wr's can't run past first down markers on fourth down
  14. Mike Pereira ‏@MikePereira 33s No need to "double check" that play in CHI
  15. wr run blocking is excellent on this team
  16. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 05:52 PM) Does it matter? no, great "problem" to have
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 05:47 PM) Why? Take the 8 point lead and make GB have to be the team rolling the dice for 2 points. It's not like there's only time for one drive left anyway, there's a whole quarter.
  18. WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brandon Marshall is still better than Jeffry.
  19. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 05:44 PM) This team in the 2nd half, man... its a completely different squad. I don't know if Trestman just reacts perfectly or these guys need a long timeto warm up. It's like the difference in the Ravens game before and after the storm delay. Such a huge difference.
  20. Damn this GB D is looking bad right now, Forte had 15 yards of open space
  21. Forte with some more fantastic running and exploded off the edge there
  22. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 05:41 PM) This game has been brilliantly schemed on D A smarter play by Anderson on that fumble and they've got three turnovers, a TD and hold GB to 13 points throw three quarters.
  23. Mastey doing his best Podlesh impression
