yeah I'm not down with that, I wouldn't imagine that much of the liberal/left would be either. Intervention in cases like Libya, Mali or Syria are somewhat complex and you'll find a wide range of views on the left over the merits, but that's a bit different from direct war with Iran.

These bills (and there's several in different states) are meant to prohibit public schools from having any discussion or instruction on LGBT at all. They're anti-LGBT bills and this is just another ridiculous measure thrown in.
