  1. On ESPN News right now. Waiting for Marvin Williams response.
  2. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 01:19 AM) What happened to J Hood? Why did they yank him from the afternoon show? He does have his own show on the weekends now. I liked Hood when he was on until anywhere from 11pm to 1am. He did some funny stuff late nights, that made me laugh at the start of my work day. He didn't like having to be 2nd fiddle to Telander. Just a thought, but I wouldn't be surprised if WMVP hired him to do evenings. Boers & Bernstein are a riot. They are now the best show on the Score right now with the sad demise of the Me & Z show. North is an idiot, & it used to be painful deciding to listen to him or Mariotti. Thankfully, Mariotti is gone, & Silvy & Carmen are easier on the ears.
  3. Cabrera walk off homer from David Riske. Halos win 6-5.
  4. Erstad on 2nd, 2 down, & Garrett Anderson hits a bloop single to center. Game tied at 5.
  5. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 03:42 PM) LEWWWW! wins it with a seeing-eye single, 10-9. Thanks, KC. :headshake I hope their 'pen pitches the same way for the next 3 days.
  6. Twins win. KC's bullpen are a bunch of clowns. :fyou
  7. Bases loaded, one out. Lew Ford coming up. Not good.
  8. Twins have winning run on 2nd, one out.
  9. Tiffee strikes out. To the 10th, tied at 9.
  10. Mauer pinch hitting. MacDougal walks him intentionally.
  11. Jacques Jones with a single over the 3rd base bag. Tie game, winning run on 3rd. :banghead
  12. Lew Ford with a base hit up the middle. Runners at the corner, 1 down. Come on, how 'bout a double play!
  13. Hunter advanced to 2nd on a throwing error by MacDougal, but he just struck out LeCroy. Come on, 2 more!
  14. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 03:11 PM) no responses on the matchups. here's my predictions: Garcia v Brian Anderson Contreras v Runelvys Hernandez Hernandez v Denny Bautista Friday: Garcia vs. Hernandez Saturday: Contreras vs. Greinke Sunday: Hernandez vs. Bautista
  15. MacDougal just walked Torii Hunter to lead off the bottom of the 9th. Come on, KC! Hold off the Twinkies!
  16. And unlike Hunter, Sweeney showed genuine concern when Redmond didn't get up.
  17. It was Mike Redmond, not Mauer.
  18. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 10:53 AM) I miss David Aldridge. ESPN's loss is TNT's gain. Inside the NBA is much better than ESPN's NBA coverage.
  19. I'm thrilled with the hot start, but at the end of this road trip, they have to make that dreaded swing to Oakland, where they've struggled the past couple of years. With the new philosophy in place, and with some of Oakland's key guys gone, I'm hoping for a better record this year.
  20. Valentin just put the Dodgers ahead 3-1 in the top of the 10th with a 2 run triple. He always seemed to be an "all or nothing" type of hitter when he was here. Either way, looks like the Dodgers will retain the best record in MLB.

Now, Zambrano looks to be hurt as well (though it just looks like a blister).
  22. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 09:58 PM)
  23. With all due respect to Rivera, and to a point Gagne, Joe Nathan may be the most dominant closer going right now.

Murph on the Score is reporting 6-8 weeks. Ouch! (literally and figuratively)
