  1. Shawn Camp now pitching for the Royals.
  2. Off topic, but Kip Wells is the Opening Day pitcher for the Pirates against the Phillies.
  3. Tony G. now up. He just doesn't look right in Royal blue.
  4. Jose with 3 K's. Sadly, he's in mid-season form. :banghead
  5. El Caballo!!!!! Way to go! Though I gotta give props to Beltran for skying up there to try to bring it back. Whatever team gets him next year is getting a gamebreaker on their hands.
  6. One of the posters on WSI has it in their sig (awayfish, I think). I'm definitely against it. I think Ozzie is going to have a tremendous, positive impact on this squad.
  7. Fear not. Pawtucket picked the D-Backs to win the NL West.
  8. It could be worse. He could've predicted a 4th place finish for the Sox....... Wait a minute, he did predict that. Screw "Light Bat" Reynolds. :fyou
  9. He picked the Sox to win the division with part of his reasoning that Frank Thomas now realizes that this is Magglio's team. He also said Ozzie's ability to get these guys motivated should help them win the division. Pawtucket Gammons on course picked the Twinkies, and Harold "Light Bat" Reynolds picked the Royals. Screw those 2 puds.
  10. My God, that was beautiful. I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. Hearing the deafening cheers silenced when Lee drove home the tying runs or pure silence when Mordecai lined his 3 run double off the ivy. What a beautiful thing. Ahh, memories. That was a great night to be a Sox fan.
  11. That's what they were doing. Not anymore: Bradley is wearing Dodger Blue. Pray for Jim Tracy.
  12. I registered, but there's about a billion boards. Which one would I be going to specifically?
  13. I don't think Connor ever came back again. Beckett and the Fish broke his spirit.
  14. BUMP Just in case any other Cubbie troll wants to test fate.
  15. This, by far is not only one of the worse in MLB, but in all of professional sports:
  16. AL West: 1. Oakland 2. Anaheim 3. Seattle 4. Texas AL East: 1. New York :puke 2. Boston (WC):puke 3. Toronto 4. Tampa Bay (Piniella works wonders) 5. Baltimore AL Central: 1. White Sox 2. Twins 3. Royals 4. Tigers 5. Indians NL West: 1. San Francisco 2. Arizona (WC) 3. San Diego 4. Los Angeles NL East: 1. Philly 2. Florida 3. Atlanta 4. New York 5. Montreal NL Central: 1. Houston 2. St. Louis 3. Chicago (MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....seriously, too much pressure and they wilt) 4. Milwaukee 5. Pittsburgh 6. Cincy AL MVP: Vernon Wells NL MVP: Richie Sexson AL Cy Young: Tim Hudson NL Cy Young: Roy Oswalt (provided he stays healthy) ALCS: White Sox over Red Sox 3 games to 2 Angels over Yankees 3 games to 1 White Sox over Angels 4 games to 2 NLCS: Phillies over Diamondbacks 3 games to 1 Astros over Giants 3 games to 0 Phillies over Astros 4 games to 3 World Series: White Sox over Phillies 4 games to 2 And an 87 year drought comes to an end. And no, I haven't been smoking. No one really thought Anaheim would be there in '02 or Florida in '03. Why not us?
  17. You guys rock!!! That's what I'm talking about! Trolls can barely see the light of day before they get crushed under the good ship BANNED! If the Bears MB had a mod like this board does, they wouldn't have had half the problems. Way to handle your business, mods! Keep up the good work!
  18. Probably because they have 2 different modes of programming. There's an FM station in Chicago (91.5 FM) that does NPR in the morning & jazz at night.
  19. I can't wait for JG to do the one thing that Manuel would never let him do: Work his way out of trouble. How is a guy ever going to get any confidence if his manager always has someone warming up in the pen? Garland has the tools to get hitters out. All he needs is the confidence. I think Ozzie will show confidence in him and the results will be more wins for #20.
