  1. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 06:45 PM) Salazar....Salazar. Pretty sure he's talking about the base runner Santana.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 06:24 PM) Oh well. Looking like it's back to Cleveland. O ye of little faith
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 01:41 PM) You want examples of reasons to hate Rush Limbaugh? Like the time he explained that consent was something only people on the left cared about, and said that the "rape police" were a bad thing? That was 2 weeks ago. That isn't a fair characterization of what he said. What he's saying is that consent is the only thing people on the left seem to care about when it comes to sexual mores. To be honest, I think that is a fair characterization for the most part.
  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 09:33 PM) I can't help it that sox fans are shook by da cubs. if this were the dodgers and i say the exact same thing, nobody would say a word. the cubs are in sox fans heads on this board (not OGs like quinarvy, kyyle or jason). but the rest of yall? pathetic. Ohhh...the Cubs are in OUR heads...got it.
  5. Assuming you pitch Bauer tomorrow, and Lester pitches well, there is a good chance you don't need Miller again until Tuesday evening.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 07:33 PM) He's out of game I see that now Didn't realize he was the first man up that inning.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 07:25 PM) Kluber you stud So do you bring in Miller to face Baez or let Kluber keep going?
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 07:20 PM) Bring in Miller No need to panic.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 05:01 PM) I know one kid who wore a sox jersey on Halloween day at school. His dad might have a ton of posts on soxtalk What a good kid that is
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 02:20 PM) Cocaine was big in the 80s and early 90s. It seems to be making a comeback. Non crack that is. Yeah, but in Miami, it's never really left.
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 01:29 PM) Heyward back in right field. Santana at first base, Napoli not in the lineup. Both teams thinking defense first? Cleveland may be...Napoli has struggled as well. As far as Heyward, he has put a few decent swings on in pinch hitting efforts the past few games.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 01:06 PM) I think it's particularly helpful that Kluber threw a start on 3 days rest earlier this postseason so it's not something new to him. The rest and throwing schedule is off with a big long rest after the ALCS followed by short rest, but he already knows a bit of what to expect. Yeah, he pitched Game 4 on short rest and while he wasn't as dominant as in his other starts, he was still pretty effective. They just didn't score any runs for him.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 26, 2016 -> 02:27 PM) We'll have to see where the BAC's come out, and if he was driving, but yeah, it doesn't look good. He had cocaine in his system.
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 08:47 AM) Except the Indians' superstar is Francona rather than an individual player, at least in the eyes of a majority of the media. Kluber and Lindor just aren't name brands nationally. Miller, a set up guy, might actually be the most famous coming into the series. Andrew Miller.
  15. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 09:10 PM) Doh! Low blow!
  16. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 08:52 PM) Kluber is going on three days rest so I'm not expecting game 1 out of him, but it's still a very favorable match up Yeah, this is how I feel as well. The Indians have the edge tomorrow, but the Cubs had the big edge tonight and you see where that got them. I'd rather be in Francona's shoes right now than Maddon's, but this is far from over.
