Not sure I've stated it here yet, but this is something I've been expressing to my friends... I think we may have needed to give this lead up in order to get this thing back on track. There is a psychological difference between barely holding on to something, but having the inevitable feeling you're going to lose it, versus losing something and realizing you've now got nothing to lose. Hopefully they can clear their heads and move forward. Maybe they'll be loose now and play like they are capable. It's been their pattern all year long. Let's do this s***.

And secondly, I am sure it still gives you a pretty good idea of what you're looking for...it isn't like you type in most addresses and get a map of Tokyo...

The range of commentary in here is so all over the place...it's very difficult to get a sense of what is actually happening...

I think it is just a sense of urgency due to the lack of hitting. He's trying to create runs on the basepaths instead of in the batter's box. Hard to blame him, honestly. Hopefully he will reign it in a bit though now that he sees they can't just run at will (or at all) on Santana.

He'll get back in a rhythm in a week or two and we'll all be happy with him. He's just a miserable s*** when he's struggling...something that comes along with the package.
