QUOTE (Baron @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:37 PM) Hey maybe we can call up Nestor Molina. He seems to be lighting it up with the Barons. Good god, people...I'm going to prescribe Zoloft to all of you prego b****es

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:33 PM) Humber's just getting destroyed at the Cell this year. I wouldn't be opposed to Quintana getting some of his starts after Danks returns. Cooper seem to imply earlier that we might go to a 6-man when Danks comes back.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:32 PM) I'm referring to the possibility of him pitching beyond this inning. I know, I'm just rocking your pessimistic boat

Blue Jays @ White Sox
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) We've never hit Romero well. He's getting behind pretty much every hitter and we haven't seen much of anything yet offensively. Oh ok...I guess I'll turn it off then.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:26 PM) J4L strikes again. This seems like one of those series we just have to be content with one out of 3. Morrow's been pitching pretty darned well this season, and we have no idea how long the "Quintana Magic" continues. It's 3-1. Is ok with you if we don't concede this one quite yet?

2012 TV Thread
QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:19 AM) It's a government building, I assume, where the mayor and councilman both have offices. Ahh that's right...I keep forgetting he is a councilman... Although for accuracy's sake, the Mayor's Office is not going to be located next to a councilman's...but it is just a tv show.

Chris Sale- AL Pitcher of the Month/ May
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:22 AM) Chris Sale eats pitching awards for breakfast. For lunch he has cuchumber sandwiches. For dinner, usually McDonalds. Well he needs to start eating dessert too.

Who would you rather go out for beers with: Ozzie or Robin?
I've seen Ozzie party...go out for beers with? Definitely Ozzie. If I wanted to impress my new girlfriend that I had responsible friends? Robin.

Or...you could just choose a dog with a good temperament and socialize him well...and not worry about him biting random people because he won't do so unless he or you is legitimately threatened... Most dogs are a bit more intelligent than people give them credit for.

2012 TV Thread
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 10:21 PM) Well they walked into Richmond's office using it, so it could be his, but likely Gwen's or Jamie's. But Gwen wouldn't make sense, as that would mean she blackmailed her Dad to get a warrant to have them find a key card to be traced back to her. So the Mayor and Richmond have offices like right next to one another? That is the part where I got thrown off...

1/3 of the way through the season
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 11:11 PM) But the debates get a bit out of hand sometimes trying to win or say your reasoning is better than someone else's. Not you in particular. A small price to pay for the opportunity to share our thoughts and increase our baseball and White Sox knowledge.

2012 MLB draft talk
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 11:04 PM) Smoral's offspeed is already better than any of Santiago's secondary pitches and you just have to wait and see if an 18 year old can throw harder considering Hector didn't start throwing 95+ till he was moved to the bullpen (sitting at 90-94 just like Smoral). He didn't even have a screwball until his 2011 season since he threw a very "fringe" slider. Obviously it helped, but Hector always had control issues versus sothpaws as well. He walked more Double-A lefties than he struck out that year because he was a one-pitch pitcher to lefties. Credit to him for adding another pitch, I don't see why Smoral can't either. I just hope he uses some of that signing bonus to go to the dentist.

1/3 of the way through the season
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 09:31 PM) Exactly. It's an opinion. It doesn't need a grade scale. If I like the season player A is having I can give him an A based on nothing more than I feel good about the guy, Player B may have a better season but maybe I don't like his lack of hustle or his non-chalant fielding so I give him a B or worse. Am i wrong? Many would say yes and give me multiple reasons . You grade based upon how you feel or stats or w/e floats your boat. Right now all I know is the TEAM gets an A. I don't think anyone is saying people don't have the right to their own opinion. The fun comes in debating your opinion and those of others with all the facts available.
