Oh come on, Bren...relationships start off in all kinds of crazy ways...because you and Chase are happy in your relationship does not mean the manner in which you began it is the "blueprint" for everyone.

QUOTE (smalls2598 @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 01:14 PM) Whirlyball's Wikipedia entry contains this great piece of info: "Games played by veterans at a national level can get particularly vicious, although it is extremely rare for a fatal injury to occur" I might have to nominate this for post of the year.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 5, 2010 -> 12:13 AM) The best friend actually has no idea I saw/heard anything. Haven't done anything about the number yet, like I said I could grab the number right now if I wanted to, so I'm not overly worried about that. Once I figure out how I'm going to handle this then I'll scoop up the number and go from there. Oh brother...the drama!

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 11:05 PM) In a nutshell, ya pretty much. Kind of 3rd hand information from her best friend but I weaseled my way into seeing text messages to make sure what people were telling me was legit and it is. Well, my guess is her best friend showed you this for a reason. So don't be a pansy now and wait 5 days to talk to the girl. Did you get her number from the friend too?

QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 10:50 PM) Haha, I knew that would get a rise out of you Mark. It wasn't lost on me that your response was alluding to me a few times...

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 11:37 PM) Ha, surprised my situation got this much response. Anyways, not that anyone gives a s*** but with out talking to her or even doing anything yet, I ended up finding out she is indeed interested. Now the fun part we'll be to see if I can handle this correctly with out f***in it up. We'll see what happens. Ok, now that you have us all looking in, how did you find this out? A mutual friend happened to mention this?

QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 11:16 PM) See this is what I meant before with soxtalk posters (the guys especially) over analyzing stuff. I mean it's a simple formula. Row, you can take advice from people here, but in reality, you just need the experience. Speaking from your shoes, I did the same thing Rock suggested when I was very young (many times) and let me just say it didn't turn out so well (it honestly never does, except for very certain situations). Guys can't think like a woman (we never will) but you have to know the inside outs. Now I don't try (or even wanna try, nobody is perfect) and act like I'm the love master, hitch or a giggalo, but I know damn well how to do certain situations even if some people see it as "a game." Now if you really need another brain to pick on privately, shoot me a PM Rowand, and I'll give some insight. I can even see here on this board who I know are pretty good on advise, cause of their experience on situations. People have their own ways of course, and the best ones you will hardly, if ever, see them asking for advise in a thread (obviously) or giving advise all the time (at times, good to hear, but I wouldn't bank on them). My two cents. Oh you are so full of crap, Ger....

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 10:53 PM) Say the impossible happened and Dunn fell all the way to the Sox and they claimed him, wouldnt they still have to make a deal with Rizzo? If I am not mistaken(and please someone correct me if I am wrong, and I probably am ), Rizzo can let the team that claimed him have Dunn for no compensation, work out a deal with the team that claimed him for players/prospects, or pull him back from waivers. So if I am right and that is the case, there really is nothing to get excited about because Rizzo will still be asking for the moon and KW will still be telling him to take a long walk off a short pier. Yes. Or, if no one claims him, then the negotiating goes back to the exact process that was going on before the waiver deadline.
