Anyone else who does Yoga X here find that their knee(s) go numb during some of the longer moves where you are standing on one leg, such as the triangle pose or Warrior 3 (and the rest of that sequence)? The last few times through it I have felt my right knee numbing up, and it still sort of felt strange last night when I was doing Legs & Beck. Not sure if I should continue with that routine or not... Today is Day 69...only 3 weeks left!

Get back to talking about my iPad please.

Enough. You both took shots at each other after Balta warned you.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 26, 2010 -> 07:49 AM) Went ahead and did legs and back this morning. Got up at 4 AM. I'll tell you by the end of the day if I do that again. This wasn't as difficult, as my legs and back are probably what I'm the best at. But, I wanted to go ahead and do it in the morning since I work after teaching today and I don't want to punish myself before I go out for the night....I'd rather just enjoy it. I did it once at 330 AM too, before work in the morning. I never did it again. Not necessarily because it was harder to do in the morning, but because that is just too damn early to wake up. So Alex, you've got a week under your belt basically. How ya feeling?

Apple finally just charged me for my iPad yesterday, even though I ordered it on March 12. I took that to mean they finally realized they could guarantee shipment.

Honestly, you guys are over-analyzing the s*** out of this. Obviously, anything can happen, and does happen, in relationships. If you are in one, there is some level or risk you are taking by entrusting your feelings to another person and allowing yourself to be vulnerable with another person. The same reasons that relationships can grow into such close bonds are the same reasons that people can get really hurt in them. But if you're going to be in one, you've got to make the choice to allow yourself to trust and be vulnerable, or else there is not much of a point.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 06:46 PM) B&B was especially tough tonight, tried to start with too much weight on the 21's. I did the same thing last night. At least it felt that way.

QUOTE (The Gooch @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 07:00 PM) Looks pretty interesting. I agree that insanity looks like it could be a good supplement to a long term program as well, but no at that price. Should be interesting to see what you come out with once it is all said and done Yeah, I will definitely share with you guys what the program I design ends up looking like. We're all going to need something, so we can bounce ideas off one another and see what works best.

QUOTE (The Gooch @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 05:48 PM) What is the one on one series? It's a monthly scam, basically. It is a workout done by Tony in his home gym. You get 1 per month for $19.95. Not cheap, but I want to build a collection so I can craft a long-term program. One on One

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 05:58 PM) Yeah, as I said, I'm not sure why I care so much either. Perhaps I'm more concerned than I care to admit, I don't know. Did she call you yet?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 04:28 PM) LMAO. Yes. Yes it is. If you dont let them know it is, then the balls are stored neatly in a locked box at the bottom of the purse This is absolutely true. And the thing is, most of the time, they WANT you to tell them when they are wrong and check them on their bs, otherwise, they don't respect you and lose interest.

I'm not sure how you "play the blame game on her" but don't come off as controlling?

Damn, Insanity is $120 + $25 s+h....ugh...not sure if I can justify that if I am just going to pull a few workouts from it...

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 03:45 PM) He forgot to tell you all that her best friend is her father. Hah, funny s***, BS. Ok, so you have to explain this situation BW....how did this happen and how does she know? And if you already used your get out of jail free card, it sounds like you are up the river without a paddle on this one, my friend...

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 03:27 PM) The feedback I've seen on insanity is that you lose a ton of upper body strength but lean out quite a bit. I'm thinking you need a hybrid. I wouldn't run through the whole Insanity program I don't think. I would just select a few workouts from it so that I have more than just plyo to draw from for the cardio portion. I've found that I am getting sick of certain workouts in P90X, so I need more material to draw from. So I want to create my own program, from a large body of material, for the long-term. It will be structured similarly to how P90X is, with resistance and cardio workouts intermingled, but I just need more workouts to draw from. So instead of doing plyo every damn week, I want to maybe do that particular workout only once every 3 or 4 weeks. But I want to have a "plyo-like" workout (in it's effectiveness) at least once every week or so. Which is where Insanity comes in. From what I understand, much of that program is plyo in style, so I could select the best 3 or 4 workouts from that program, combine them with my favorite resistance workouts from P90X, as well as workouts as they come in the One-on-One series.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 12:02 PM) I've actually already did that when we were in the beginning stages of hooking up. Whoops So just so I understand this better, you're saying you slept with your current girlfriend's best friend shortly after you started hooking up with your girlfriend? And to the best of your knowledge, she doesn't know this?
-
Just ordered the One on One series, thinking of ordering Insanity, too. Starting to think about designing a long-term program for after I finish P90X, and I figure the more material I have to draw from the better.

Happy BDay, Kal! Hopefully you killed enough brain cells that I can understand more of your posts now...

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 01:41 PM) I think its basically like No Xplode which is a bunch of creatine etc to give you that size and pump while you workout. I guess if you want to just add a ton of muscle its a good thing to put into your diet. Did you read the first Amazon comment though? Dude says after he drinks it he gets a tingling feeling in his face....Hah....a bit extreme for me...

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Mar 25, 2010 -> 02:29 PM) I haven't posted on here for P90X in a little while... I pulled a muscle in my back after 3 weeks of this and had to take 2 weeks off but I am glad to say I have started back up and its feeling good again.... Great news, Jester. I have been fighting through a sore shoulder for a good 10 days now. It doesn't feel like I am making the injury worse when I am exercising, and it is gradually getting better I think. Just have to use your best judgment I guess...

That Jackd stuff looks a bit too insane for me! I drink a Muscle Milk Light shake in the morning, with a banana blended in if I have one around. After my workout I drink a shake made from the ON Whey protein. Otherwise, I try to eat lean sources of protein like tuna, salmon and chicken. Ultimately, my goal was not to add a bunch of bulk, but instead to just get an overall tone, kind of like the swimmer's build or whatever. I've reached that point now, so I am pretty happy, but I would like to bulk up my arms a bit more, so I may have to increase the intensity of some things a bit.

You guys have probably already mentioned this, but Julian Casablancas is a genius.

Some Passion Pit, anyone?

The Ting Tings, anyone?
